Great Service, Diverse Dishes, Good Value
My experience at this restaurant was excellent. I found the service to be great, and they offer a good diversity of traditional dishes, complemented by rotating seasonal specials. The value is also very good, and the atmosphere is quiet.
I am a repeat customer.

Missed Indian Food Gem
My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant often when we lived in the Stonestown neighborhood and I worked at the University. I truly miss this place because I now live in the East Bay and it served good Indian food. We always ordered our favorite dishes; my husband would get us samosas as appetizers, and I always enjoyed my chai tea.
Since I'm no longer local, we don't get to visit as often. I hope to return once my 6-month-old daughter is old enough to dine in a restaurant.

Basic Food, Good Service and Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was pretty basic. The samosas were overcooked, and the food was generally bland. However, to their credit, they did offer the option to order it hotter.
The service and atmosphere were both rated a 4 out of 5.

London's Best Indian Food Surpassed!
Up until this evening, the best Indian food I had eaten was in London. However, our meal at Roti surpassed those London experiences. The crispy fried kale was a wonderful appetizer.
Portions are large, so be mindful not to order too much and save room for dessert. It is a bit noisy.

Delicious Curry and Exceptional Service for Dietary Needs
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive, especially concerning their accommodation of dietary restrictions. We ordered the vegetable curry, which was absolutely delicious! Due to cross-contamination concerns with gluten, most appetizers were off-limits.
However, when I inquired about the lamb samosas, the waiter was incredibly thoughtful. He suggested we get just the filling, cooked in a pan without the wrapper that's fried in the same oil as other breaded items. They prepared it this way for us, and it was still very tasty.
He even brought some yogurt in case it was too spicy. I also enjoyed a mango Lassi, which was the best I've ever had. The owner was also very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't eat safely.
The atmosphere, service, and food all received a perfect score of 5.

A place to enjoy dine-in!
My experience at this restaurant was great! I really enjoyed the dine-in experience. The food was the best.
I would advise against using Uber Eats as they are not doing the restaurant any favors.

Excellent Gluten-Free North Indian Options
Gluten-free diners, look no further! For those familiar with North Indian cooking, gluten can be lurking in hing (Asefotida), a common spice used in gravies. This restaurant purposely uses gluten-free hing.
We had the palak paneer and okra (bhindi masala). Both were fresh and very filling – we left with takeout boxes. Will definitely be coming here again.
