Classic Taco Shop Experience
My experience at Rolberto’s Taco Shop was fantastic! 🌮 The burritos were large, bursting with flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. I also enjoyed the delicious tacos and salsa with the perfect spice.
The service was fast and friendly. The prices were great, the portions were generous, and the shop had that classic late-night taco shop vibe. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Still a Favorite After All These Years
I've been dining here since 1997, and it's still a favorite. The menudo is off the charts delicious!

Amazing Quesaburrito and Vibes!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant today. I spoke with the cashier, and they had great vibes. They even hooked me up with extra salsa and hot carrots!
I asked how long they've been open, and they mentioned around 30 years, which is crazy – longer than I've been alive. The quesaburrito was fire, and the horchata was amazing too!

Disappointing Incomplete Order After 12 Years
It's a shame that after paying for my food, some people in charge deliver my order incomplete. This message is for the owner: if you truly care about your business, pay more attention to the people you hire because at this rate, you're going to lose customers. I'm leaving a photo of the receipt so that if you're interested, you can see the time, day, and who was in charge, and review your cameras to see what was delivered.
In my country, we call that kind of riffraff thieves. Thank you, and I hope you bring order. I've been a customer for over 12 years and something like this has never happened before.

Overcharged and Unresolved Issue
My experience at this restaurant involved an unexpected overcharge on my card. The total was listed as 23. 66, but the final charge was 27.
16. I suspect the cashier may have added a tip that I did not approve. I would appreciate it if a manager or owner could contact me to provide a proper receipt to clarify this discrepancy.
Otherwise, I advise everyone to check your receipts carefully.

Used to be the best, now just okay
Back in the 90s and early 2000s, this place used to be one of the best, if not arguably the best taco shop in the East San Diego/City Heights area. I think it has transferred ownership since then, as the food and service have not been the same. For example, the carne asada fries and nachos were exceptional back then.
They are mid now, as the meat feels and tastes old or refrigerated. The one thing I can give them today is that the breakfast burritos with bacon, ham, and sausage are very good. The salsa roja goes well with it with just enough spice to it.

Mixed Feelings on Carne Asada Fries
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. I ordered the carne asada fries, and while the fries themselves were crispy and seasoned well, the meat was disappointing. It had a fake tasting texture that was tough and chewy.
On the positive side, the service was great, and the place had a clean and homie atmosphere.

Good food, nice prices
My experience at this restaurant was positive. I really like the food. It's my go-to place for a sausage burrito, or any kind of burrito for that matter.
The pricing is also good, making it a place with good food.

Disappointing Horchata and Overpriced Tacos
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The horchata water tasted like cake and was excessively sweet, not at all like traditional horchata. Additionally, the rolled tacos I ordered were expensive and, at best, average.
I do not recommend this place.

Amazing Takeout, Friendly Service!
It seems like it’s a family-owned restaurant. I've only ordered take out a few times here, but gotta say, the food is AMAZING! The service is super friendly!
The atmosphere of dine-in might be a bit slow, but the take-out order/delivery option is always on the move! I love this place beside Tacos el Panson (in front Hoover high).
