My experience at RESPITE wine bar was fantastic. The atmosphere was excellent, and the food dishes were great. The wine tasting experience was a real highlight. Everything about this place felt spot on, making it a perfect choice whether visiting as a couple, solo, or with family. It's a truly lovely venue that we'll happily return to.

I had a fantastic time with my friends! The amazing wine and food were highlights, and my favorite was the Savory Galette. I also loved the ambiance.

First of all, I’d like to praise the bar for being very upfront about their bill, informing customers that tipping is not necessary as servers are already paid sufficiently. I really appreciate that there was no tip box on the bill. However, the meat and cheese platter were really mediocre. The ingredients were just not at the level of the price they charge. The bread was not warm. They were basically the same one or same level as those we got from Trader Joe’s. We weren’t impressed with the wine either.

My experience at this restaurant was a perfect relaxing outing. A couple of friends, some conversations, a few helpings of cheese and bread on a charcuterie board, and of course glasses of wine made for a perfect evening in Seattle. The atmosphere was a 5 out of 5, and the food was a solid 4 out of 5. It was a great way to unwind.

The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the atmosphere very inviting. I highly recommend the sparkling rosé and the meat and cheese board, which was absolutely delicious. I'm already planning my return visit soon!

My experience was a breath of fresh air and a true respite. Stepping inside felt like entering another world, filled with beautiful people and bottles. The wine was divine, and the charcuterie was excellent. The evening light created a lovely atmosphere as we enjoyed our drinks and conversation. I felt valued, seen, and objectified in the best way possible. It was a truly rushing and memorable evening.

Respite is right around the corner from our house, and we are astounded at our good fortune! Everything about this place is wonderful: the wine, the food, the vibes. Each wine I have tried here has been excellent, and I’ve tried many, since I can’t help but get a flight on every visit. Hanley, the owner on the wine side of things, has impeccable taste, and I love trying her recommendations. She hand-writes the flights (pictured)! I would be remiss not to mention the food as well — the dishes are perfectly restrained so that the fresh ingredients truly shine. The cheese board is a delight, and we have also enjoyed the salads. I cannot recommend this wine bar enough!

I had a wonderful experience at this wine bar. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, and the wine and food were so good. It's a great spot for a date night or a sunny afternoon glass with friends.

My experience at this restaurant was an utter delight! The wine selection was beautifully curated, and the food available was all excellent. I also loved that they take the guessing out of ordering with their curated meat and cheese platter. And don’t forget dessert – it was sublime!
