Excellent Steakhouse Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was much better than I anticipated. I initially saw a picture online and thought it looked decent, but upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious, and I'm definitely planning to return. Considering it's a steakhouse, the prices were also very reasonable. Thank you to the team!
It made for a very successful 16th-anniversary celebration.

Hidden Gem with Stellar Service and Food
We discovered this restaurant while searching on Google and are extremely happy we decided to try it. Our waitress, Donna, was incredibly sweet and genuinely excited to serve us. She provided detailed recommendations for food and drinks, and even shared a brief history of the hotel/casino.
The food was phenomenal. We were impressed by the great deal on their anniversary wine for $21 a bottle, which is rare for a fantastic wine at a Vegas steakhouse. We both enjoyed the maui onion soup, a delicious and unique twist on French onion soup.
I had the NY strip, which was a very generous portion, likely closer to 20oz than 16oz, and cooked to perfection. My wife loved her lobster tail. We finished with the creme brulee, which was absolutely perfect in temperature and firmness.
It was an amazing dinner, and we would love to return! It's a somewhat hidden gem due to limited advertising, relying mostly on word-of-mouth and Google recommendations, but it's absolutely worth the stop!

A So-So Steakhouse Experience
After checking in, I explored the casino for a dinner spot. Aloha Specialties, a popular plate lunch place, was too casual for me. I bypassed the closed California Noodle House and Market Street Café, seeking drinks and a substantial meal.
This led me to Redwood, as I was too tired to leave the property. The restaurant features a modern steakhouse decor with subdued lighting, grey/green walls, dark wood beams, and a multi-colored carpet. I ordered a Hendricks gin & tonic ($14), a warm Spinach Salad ($15), Short Rib Pappardelle ($39), and a glass of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon ($18).
The service was quite leisurely, which I found to be a negative as I dislike waiting. On a positive note, my gin & tonic was served with the correct cucumber slices, a detail many places miss. The Spinach Salad was fine, though its enormous portion size meant I only consumed half.
My entrée, the Short Rib Pappardelle, wasn't quite what I expected. Large chunks of short rib in a creamy sauce, reminiscent of Beef Stroganoff, were served with two pieces of buttered/cheese toast. Again, the portion was excessively large, and I would have preferred a marinara sauce.
I ate most of the pasta but left most of the short rib, finding it too much like stew meat for my palate. I requested a coffee to go and left feeling somewhat unsatisfied. Other diners seemed to be enjoying themselves, suggesting my experience might have been influenced by my mood due to a canceled flight.
The total bill was $93. 20, plus a $20 tip for a meal that was just okay.

Amazing Mac-n-Cheese, Good Service
My experience at the restaurant was a mix of delightful and slightly disappointing. The mac-n-cheese was absolutely amazing! The service was also great, with the staff being attentive and friendly.
However, the lamb chops were a good size but unfortunately cooked rare, which wasn't to my preference. I am still planning to go back and reorder, hoping to try other dishes and perhaps get the lamb chops cooked differently.

Excellent Upscale Steakhouse Experience
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, happily giving us the booth we requested. They were also very supportive of us having a good time, even with quite a few drinks.
The food was good, and it's a nice upscale steakhouse.

Outstanding Food, Good Service, Needs Privacy
My experience at the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was outstanding, and the service was very good. I particularly loved the beef tips, and others enjoyed the prime rib and filet.
The bread was also delicious. In my opinion, the atmosphere could be improved with more privacy from the casino to feel classier. Overall, the restaurant was very nice.

Disappointing Experience, Ridiculous Pricing
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The pricing was ridiculous for the quality of food served. The chicken was dry, and the bread was hard like a rock.
While the steak was just steak, I found that the Market Cafe and the Aloha place on the second floor offered better food. Overall, we were so disappointed with our meal.

Redwood Steakhouse: A Delicious Return to Quality
My experience at the Redwood Steakhouse was a delightful return to a place that has maintained its quality over time. The acronym WYSIWYG – "What you see is what you get" – perfectly describes this establishment, and it's a great thing. Our servers, Yul and Maria, were fantastic from beginning to end, making us feel incredibly well taken care of.
We were seated immediately at our reserved booth, which was just perfect. Water, bread, and butter were served promptly, and the bread was delicious! We opted for a bottle of wine from their modest but well-priced list, finding a great Pinot Noir.
For starters, the escargot was a buttery, garlicky delight, perfect for dipping toast. We shared a Caesar salad before moving on to our entrees: a perfectly prepared filet and a bone-in ribeye, both cooked to the exact right level of doneness with a nice salt and pepper crust. The simply prepared asparagus was also perfectly done.
While we couldn't manage dessert or after-dinner drinks this time, we certainly will on our next visit. This is a local's spot that offers thoughtful service, delicious food, and good prices. It's amazing to see the Redwood Steakhouse has kept its quality since we were last here, and we look forward to returning and bringing family and friends.

Great Steak, Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive. The Steak was great, and I really enjoyed the sides, specifically the creamed sweet corn and mashed potatoes. While it was a little pricey, I expected that for the area.
The service was excellent, and there was no wait time.
