Delicious Food and Memorable Conversation
I came for the delicious food on an unassuming Wednesday night and left with a happy belly and a memorable conversation — one of the highlights of my solo trip to SF. The Padang platter is perfect for trying a bit of everything. You can tell this place is made with love, from the food to the warmth that fills the space. Thanks for the wonderful meal and chat! I’ll be sure to drop by again the next time I’m in town ☺️

Authentic Indonesian Gem in SF
My experience at this Indonesian restaurant in San Francisco was fantastic! As someone who enjoys trying Indonesian cuisine wherever I travel, this place certainly lived up to expectations. The fried chicken was a standout, perfectly seasoned and wonderfully crispy. I was also impressed by the sambal, which packed a surprisingly authentic punch, more so than I anticipated. For those wanting to explore, I highly recommend ordering the platter to sample a variety of dishes.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the host was incredibly friendly. I particularly loved the group party platter and the amazing variety of salsas. I'll definitely be coming back after climbing at Mission Cliffs.

Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious chicken and the pan-fried noodles. The ginger tea was a delightful touch. I'm definitely coming back for the fried chicken. The atmosphere was a perfect 5/5, and the service also received a perfect 5/5. The food was equally impressive with a 5/5 rating.

Fantastic Indonesian/Malay Food in SF!
Please do yourself a favor and go here. I have been searching for good Indonesian/Malay spots for years and finally have a great option in SF. The vibes are relaxed, portions are great, sambals are SPICY, and the food was fantastic. We got the fried tofu with peanuts, a rice plate with beef rendang & crispy chicken, indo style noodles, and sambal balacan as a side sauce. I was sweating from the spice and smiling through it. This will be my new go to spot! It should be yours too 🙂‍↔️

Authentic Indonesian Flavors with Great Service
I've visited Rasa Rasa's food truck and brick-and-mortar restaurant multiple times. This visit, I had the combo platter. The nasi lemak chicken, specifically the grilled version, was excellent. I've tried the fried version elsewhere, but Rasa Rasa's grilled version truly nails it. The gado gado was also very nice. The pan fried noodles and the Javanese fried rice were a little on the sweet side, but both were very tasty. The spring rolls and fried tofu felt like fillers and were just 'meh'. The randang was good, though not as exceptional as a tiny place I found in the public market in Emeryville. The sambal and crackers were great. The service was consistently great. It's one of the few semi-authentic Indonesian places in SF. I will definitely be back.

Delicious Pempek and Great Service
I arrived at about 6: 00 p. M. On Friday. There was only one other couple in there, but when I left at 7: 00, the table started filling up. I had the pempek appetizer, which was very filling and very delicious. The host came up to me as I entered; he was very nice and helped to explain all the terms to me that I did not know. I would definitely go back.
