Pleasantly Surprised by Tasty Ramen
***Update*** They're now open until 8: 30pm! Halleujua! I finally tried this place out after some years. I’ve wanted to for some time but they close early at 5: 30. I usually eat ramen at night, too bad they don’t stay open for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the Karamiso Ramen was tasty and satisfying. I’ll definitely go back again.

Excellent Okonomiyaki, Service Just Okay
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, primarily due to the Okonomiyaki. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and modern. We ordered both the beef and veggie Okonomiyaki, and they were both excellent, tasting very similar to those we've had in Japan. While they don't offer the Hiroshima style with noodles, the quality was still impressive. The popcorn chicken, however, was just okay and not as crunchy as we'd hoped. The staff seemed a bit busy, possibly socializing with friends. Service was just okay, but the outstanding Okonomiyaki makes me want to return.

Great Value, Huge Portions!
My experience at this restaurant was defined by the very large portions offered in relation to the price. I found it to be the best ratio I’ve had in San Francisco for a meal. However, I would advise against ordering the combo meals. The food quality was excellent, earning a food score of 5, and the overall value for money was exceptional. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant, rated at a 4. Service was also top-notch, with a perfect score of 5.

My experience at this restaurant was mid. The food was okay, but the server walked out and never gave us our check. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Disappointing Experience with Fried Oysters and Congee
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was not fresh. I ordered the fried oysters and was surprised to find that one of them had the shell deep fried in it. I also can't believe they managed to mess up the congee.

Poor Service, Unhelpful Staff
My experience at the restaurant was quite negative, primarily due to the poor service. I inquired about the type of pork available, and the waitress was mean and out of patience. She responded unhelpfully, stating she didn't know if the pork was black or white. This was extremely impolite. I will not be returning.

Delicious Beef Okonomiyaki Experience
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their Beef Okonomiyaki, which I found to be a delicious pancake. It's made with a special batter containing tempura flakes, small pieces of sliced beef, leeks, and cabbage. The dish is topped with very thin dry sliced beef, Japanese mayonnaise, and a sweet umami sauce similar to Tonkatsu sauce. The restaurant also opens early and serves American breakfast among other items. My overall experience with the food was positive, rated 4 out of 5, and the service also received a 4. The atmosphere was rated 3.

Nasty food, great atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was quite mixed. While the atmosphere was fantastic, rated a 5 out of 5, the food was a significant letdown, receiving a score of 1 out of 5. The reviewer stated, "The food was nasty you have to have the taste buds for that kind of food. " The service was rated a 4 out of 5, indicating it was generally good. The meal was dinner, and the price per person was between $10–20.

Decent Ramen with a Few Quirks
My dining experience was good. I tried the ramen, which had a decent selection and taste. The restaurant itself has a clean, modern decor, and the service was attentive. The price for the ramen was fair. However, I found the menu to be a bit unfocused. Overall, if you're in this neighborhood, you should give it a try 😀🍜🥢🍥😋

Confusing Menu, Underwhelming Ramen
I visited this restaurant with a craving for ramen. Finding the place wasn't difficult, though parking was a bit limited. I was seated quickly as I arrived before the lunch crowd. The menu was a bit confusing, offering usual ramen varieties, appetizers, and rice bowls, alongside okonomiyaki. However, there was also a separate menu with Chinese-style noodles and congee, which seemed unusual for a place named "Ramen House. " I ordered the beef curry ramen and beef with house sauce. The ramen broth's seasoning was off, and the curry wasn't Japanese. The noodles were thin, more like those in Chinese noodle soup. The beef was tender, but the seasoning was too sweet, lacking savory notes. Overall, the experience was a little underwhelming, and I'm disappointed I likely won't return to try their okonomiyaki.
