Delicious Banh Mi & Great Value
My experience at the restaurant was great! I tried the #11 Banh Mi Bi with Pate, which was a delightful "menu hack. " It offered a perfect balance of "savory and sweet.
" The staff were consistently smiling, and the "price is reasonable" considering the general increase in costs. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation, and the food was good.

Banh Mi Quality Declined Significantly
I used to get their Banh Mi and Banh Uot here because they were reasonably good for the price. However, I am somewhat disappointed now. The price has gone up significantly, but the quantity and quality have not.
I stopped buying Banh Uot from here. The Banh Mi Dac Biet has barely any Pate or meat (see pictures). They also only have pickled carrots; the pickled veggies should have a combination of carrots and daikon/radishes.
Three Banh Mi for $28 is not worth the price.

Delicious Banh Mi Deal!
My experience was a quick and delicious bite. I got the banh mi thịt nướng, and the pork was incredibly juicy. The banh mi itself had a perfect balance between soft and crunchy textures.
While I would have appreciated the veggies and meat being spread out more evenly, it was honestly one of the better banh mi I've had. The price of $7. 60 is such a great deal, and the ladies serving were friendly.
Just remember to bring cash!

Delicious & Affordable Banh Mi
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially considering the price. I ordered the bbq pork banh mi, and the bread was perfectly textured, not too hard and didn't scratch the roof of my mouth. The roast pork was flavorful with a good amount of fat, and the fresh vegetables added a nice touch.
Including the pate, the total came to $8, which is an excellent deal these days. I would definitely come back.

Kids Loved the Banh Mi!
I hadn't been here in years, but I had to pick up food for my kids because the Krispy Krunchy Chicken next door was closed on Tuesdays. I ordered two egg banh mi's, plain, and the shop didn't question it at all. I paid cash, and it was ready pretty quickly.
My kids enjoyed them, and I want to come back to try other sandwiches!

Extremely Rude Owner, Never Returning
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the owner's rude behavior. When I attempted to pay for my breakfast takeout with $20. 02 for a total of $19.
92, the owner literally yelled at me. He refused the 2 cents and returned only 8 cents. Instead of politely explaining their policy on pennies, he chose a very rude and stupid approach to customer service.
I have never encountered such a rude owner before and will never come to this restaurant again. There are many other good Vietnamese restaurants in the Sunset district.

Disappointing Combo Sandwich
I decided to give this place another try, but my experience with the combo sandwich was just okay. It was kind of dry and lacked significant taste, with a noticeable absence of pate and mayo. I found Banh Mi & Rolls on San Bruno Ave to be better.

Friendly Shop, Great Banh Mi & Thai Tea
My experience at this small shop was very positive. The staff were super friendly, and the prices were good. I enjoyed a chicken Banh Mi and their Thai Tea, finding both to be delicious.
The only drawback was that they are cash only when ordering at the counter, but there is an option to order online if you don't have cash on hand.

Great Takeout with Sweet Service
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently positive for takeout. The service is very fast, and the people working there have always been really sweet. I'm a huge fan of the chicken banh mi and banh uot, as well as the desserts.
For vegetarian options, I prefer the tofu banh mi over the vegetarian banh mi, although others may disagree.

Great Vegan Options for Vietnamese Classics
It's hard to find banh cuon and banh uot (steamed rice sheet noodles) in SF that also offer vegan options. This place does a great platter of both, veggie Banh Mi, and many other options. Their dessert (Che) is delicious too!
