I ordered a DoorDash delivery from this restaurant on 1/30/2025 and subsequently spent the night in the ER due to food poisoning. I am certain this was the source as it was my only meal that day. I began feeling unwell about an hour after eating, and the symptoms persisted for over 12 hours. When I called to report the situation, the person who answered was mildly unprofessional. While I understand they may not have been expecting such a call, their disinterested and barely apologetic tone was concerning. Even if you're not present when the food is prepared, you represent the business. Speaking in a monotone when informed that a customer experienced an ER visit due to your establishment is unacceptable. We suspect you might have thought I was seeking a refund, but I genuinely did spend the night in the ER. I experienced bloody stool throughout the night, was unable to keep anything down, and was in and out of consciousness due to the severe pain. Despite this, I appreciate you taking my call. food poisoning and ER visit were the direct result of this meal.

My experience tonight was great, with really friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my large poke bowl, and the yuzu sauce was perfect. My only feedback is that the rice for the bowl was too sweet, which made the entire meal too sweet. However, I really loved everything else. Thanks!

I visit Ballard about once a month for nail appointments and usually find myself hungry afterward around noon. On one such occasion, I had a craving for poke. I'm typically a "Certified Hater" of poke due to its price and mediocrity, so I searched for alternatives. This place popped up. Upon entering, I was greeted by a "super cool guy" (long hair, snakebites) who helped me build my bowl as it was my first visit. We chatted since I was the only customer, which was enjoyable. The interior isn't particularly atmospheric but benefits from "big windows" providing ample natural light. Overall, the experience was "pretty good. " The "fish was fresh" and there was a "good selection of toppings and sauces. " I'll definitely "swing by" if I'm craving poke after my nail appointments.
