Delicious Yucatecan Food & Excellent Service!
I want to give this restaurant a lot of credit because not only is the food delicious and very similar to the flavor of Yucatán, but the service was also excellent! More about my experience: we decided to celebrate a birthday and called the restaurant to make a reservation. That day they had a drag show, which is excellent, but since we brought children, they were very honest in recommending that we go before the show. The dinner was excellent, they always checked that we were okay, they let the children dance, and they even brought dessert for the birthday girl and played Happy Birthday. We are going to return! 😄

Authentic Food, Disappointing Restrooms & Hidden Fees
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was definitely authentic and rather good, earning a solid 4 out of 5. However, the service, while rated a 4, had a significant drawback: it took -30 minutes to get our food due to a large group ahead of us. The ambience, rated a 2, was further marred by the cleanliness and infrastructure of the restrooms, which were disappointing. A major point of contention was the “tax” that was added manually at the end of our meal, amounting to approximately 22% of the menu prices. For two people who don't drink alcohol, we ended up paying $60. While the place is good, it's possibly overpriced for what is offered.

Fire Pork Platter, Worth the Price
This place is fire! I got the poc chuc pork platter, and it was huge. While it's a bit pricey for a pop-in lunch, it was worth every penny. The pork tasted like it came right off the grill, and the hot sauce was flavorful and obviously homemade. I would come back anytime and try some of the other exotic dishes.
