Terrible food, clean cup issue
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The food was terrible. Additionally, I encountered an issue with the cup, which was not clean and had lipstick on it.
On a positive note, the waitress was nice.

Terrible Experience, Cold Food, Long Wait
My experience at this restaurant was terrible. We had to wait over an hour for our calamari, which arrived cold and seemed to be an incomplete dish. The service felt disrespectful.
Additionally, it's not pet-friendly. I definitely do not recommend it.

Disappointing Sundae Experience
I previously visited this restaurant a few months ago and enjoyed their sundae, finding it worth the price despite being a bit expensive. The caramelized bananas were particularly delightful, a quality I couldn't replicate at home. Excited to revisit for the same treat, I ordered it again this weekend.
Unfortunately, the bananas were completely burnt, tasting bitter and unappealing. I brought this to the attention of an employee, who initially argued that they were "supposed to be burnt. " After some back and forth, the sundae was remade.
The second attempt had barely cooked bananas. While unhappy, I didn't want to cause further fuss or waste food, especially given the time it took to prepare both times and my reliance on public transit. I decided to eat it as is.
When I inquired about a discount on the check, a manager informed me that they wouldn't offer one because I had eaten it and ingredients were used. They reiterated that the bananas were "supposed to be made" that way, which felt condescending. Despite their agitation, the manager expressed hope that the experience wouldn't discourage future visits, yet offered no resolution.
The issue wasn't just the bananas, but the poor treatment and condescension from the staff, which left me feeling embarrassed. At $11, the sundae was a considered purchase based on a prior positive experience. The justification of ingredient use didn't make sense, as a whole sundae was already wasted due to incorrect preparation.
I only requested a discount, not a full refund. The staff seemed to prejudge me as a "Karen, " making me feel foolish for even asking. I'm very disappointed and won't risk returning if I can't expect kindness or compensation when something goes wrong.
Even with good food, the price is too high to risk losing money on their errors.

Delicious Tacos and Great Company
I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch here today, caught up in the moment with a lovely view and good friends. While I didn't take photos of the food or atmosphere as I usually do, I can confirm I thoroughly enjoyed my apple spritz. My street tacos were delicious, and my dining companions were equally pleased with their fish and chips and cheeseburger.
The macaroni and cheese and french fries were also excellent. Overall, I would love to come back and try something different.

Worst Dining Experience Ever
My dining experience was absolutely the worst ever. Upon being seated, I waited about 15 minutes before anyone approached my table. To my surprise, the table was dirty, with the check from the previous customer still present – it hadn't been cleaned.
When I requested water, the server simply pointed to a bottle on the table and offered no glasses or ice. There was also no silverware provided. The server seemed annoyed by having to fulfill these basic requests.
When my sandwich arrived, the meat was covered in black soot. I informed the waitress, who then told the manager. The manager's response was to ask if I was going to eat it, and upon my refusal, simply said 'sorry.
' I had to ask for the bill three times. I strongly advise against wasting your hard-earned money here.

Wonderful waterfront dining experience
I had a wonderful time here. The restaurant offered a very nice table overlooking the water, and the Dungeness crab cakes were excellent. I also enjoyed a most interesting pomegranate draft cider.
It's a family-run establishment, and I had a warm conversation with Meighan and Mac. The Brazilian-born waitress, Jennifer, is brilliant.

Unprofessional Service and Awkward Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite unusual. The employees were observed sitting at the bar, serving themselves beer, and engaging in conversations amongst themselves, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. Consequently, we did not receive proper service.
We were not informed about any specials. When we noticed a dish coming from the kitchen that wasn't on the menu, we inquired about it. The male bartender then provided us with a different menu, stating, "yea they are probably not something we offer today, " despite it being labeled as daily specials and us having seen one of the dishes being prepared.
Another employee, who was seated and drinking beer, confirmed that the menu was indeed offered on the day of our visit, creating a very awkward situation. As a restaurant manager myself, I believe this is something the owner should address. Our bill could have easily been double, as we would have ordered more food and drinks.
In another awkward encounter, they refused to give us a single straw, even though straws were readily available on the opposite side of the bar. To top it off, the male bartender assisting us didn't even know what the well tequila was, having to ask a colleague and consult a menu.

Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was profoundly disappointing and unprofessional. Upon arrival, several employees were observed at the bar, drinking beer, chatting amongst themselves, and serving themselves. This created an awkward atmosphere and resulted in poor service throughout our visit.
We were not informed about any daily specials. When we noticed dishes leaving the kitchen that were not on the menu provided, we inquired with the bartender. They reluctantly gave us another menu but dismissed the items, suggesting they were likely unavailable.
However, another employee at the bar contradicted this, stating those dishes were part of the day's specials. This lack of communication was both frustrating and unprofessional. As a restaurant manager myself, I found this situation unacceptable.
The unorganized service not only impacted our experience but also likely cost the business, as our table would have spent significantly more if we had been properly informed. To further our frustration, we were denied a simple request for a straw, despite seeing them at the bar, which again led to an uncomfortable interaction. Adding to the issues, the bartender serving us was unaware of their well tequila, requiring them to ask another employee and consult a menu.
Overall, the visit was handled poorly from start to finish, falling short of any restaurant owner's acceptable standards.

Terrible Service and Disgusting Food
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly negative. I was left waiting for 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging my presence. My food was delivered by someone else, and I received no further attention or assistance with my bill.
The fish and chips were way over deep fried and frankly disgusting. I would never come back here.

Overpriced Food, Nice Views, Poor Service
My family and I visited this restaurant and found the atmosphere to be really nice with great views of the bay. However, they need to address the issue of shade in the back area, as it seems there's preferential seating with or without shade. The food was overpriced and frankly, BLAH.
The service employees appeared overworked with no clear structure, suggesting they might be a family-owned business cutting corners and overcharging tourists. I would recommend looking for better spots towards Pier 39. I will not be a returning customer.
