I absolutely loved my experience here! The Pho was incredibly flavorful with a rich broth, and the wings were crispy and seasoned to perfection—a surprisingly great combo. The vibe is perfect and the atmosphere makes you want to stay all night. Service was top-notch and very attentive. 5 stars all the way!

My experience at this restaurant involved crispy chicken that was fried well. However, I found the two flavors I chose, Garlicky Soy and Savory Red, to be neither to my liking. Despite this, I did finish all 10 wings😋. The slaw was pretty good though.

My experience at the restaurant was great! The food was yummy and perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and seasoned wonderfully. I do wish they had more sauce options like barbecue or Teriyaki.

My boyfriend and I have found our favorite Korean fried chicken spot in San Diego! We both usually get a Tender Box each, with me opting for the Garlicky Soy and him choosing the Devil Garlic. The portion sizes are consistently generous, featuring large tenders. The accompanying slaw, furikake rice, and fries are also delicious. Notably, the food here tastes significantly less oily compared to other places like Dave's Hot Chicken. If you're seeking an alternative to Dave's and prefer to support small businesses, Uncle Chicken is the place to go. The owner is a sweet lady, and I hope Uncle Chicken remains a fixture in Scripps Ranch!

My third visit to this location proved to be the charm! Uncle Chicken offers solid food overall. While I prefer less sweetness, the garlicky wing combo was still a bit on the sweeter side, but the sandol combo was quite good. Compared to previous establishments at this spot, the food here is decent. It's definitely worth a try!

They offer a wide array of Korean options and fixes, complemented by a great variety of savory, sweet, and spicy sauces. It's a family-ran & locally owned establishment, adding to its charm. The food was a perfect 5/5, and the service and atmosphere were both a solid 4/5. There was no wait, and parking was a breeze with a free parking lot and plenty of spaces. The price per person was reasonable, between $10–20.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The drinks were significantly overpriced, costing 2-3 times more than supermarket prices. The chicken, which I ordered as 20 wings and 3 tenders, was clearly pre-cooked and heated up, as it was ready in just 5 minutes. The spiciness level was incorrect, and the chicken was greasy and not crispy. I suspect the chili contained too many chemical ingredients. Furthermore, out of the 20 chicken wings ordered, less than 8 were actual wings; the rest were drumsticks, leading to considerable food waste. The spiciness and flavor were not representative of authentic Korean fried chicken. I strongly suggest improving the food quality to attract a wider customer base, especially the Asian market.

Since then, I've returned a few times, and each visit, my food arrives blistering hot, crispy, and surprisingly quick. While it's a bit more expensive than places like Wingstop or Epic Wings, the quality and flavors are well worth the extra cost. I'm surprised by the lack of customers when I arrive – I encourage you to give this place a try and support local business. If your experience is anything like mine, you won't be disappointed!
