Terrible Service, Ignored at Table
My experience at this restaurant was marked by zero service. After being seated, we waited a considerable amount of time before a waiter appeared. We ended up ordering via QR code.
When our order arrived, the waitress couldn't open the prosecco and simply left it, forcing us to go to the bar to have the bartender open it. Following this, there were zero check-ins; we received no napkins, no water, and nothing. It was particularly frustrating as we observed all the tables around us receiving attentive service.
The waitress only reappeared when she noticed us paying our bill via the QR code, clearly angling for a tip.

Decent Airport Spot, Service Lacking
My experience at this restaurant was primarily as a place to kill some time before a flight. The food wasn’t anything amazing, but both the dry rub chicken wings and the chicken sandwich my wife had were satisfactory. Together with two sodas, the bill came to $60.
Unfortunately, the server forgot our drinks, and we had to ask multiple times, by which point we had nearly finished our food. The atmosphere and bar seating were very good, making it a nice sports bar. Overall, it’s not bad for an airport, but don’t expect a hole in one!

A Masterpiece of Mediocrity
My experience at this restaurant was a testament to how poorly breakfast can be prepared. It felt as though they deliberately tried to make the food bad, perhaps by hiring food scientists to remove any inherent deliciousness from the ingredients. It was a true master feat of mediocrity.

Truly Awful Airport Burger Experience
My experience at this restaurant was truly awful. The burgers, which are often overpriced at airports, were exceptionally bad. I felt compelled to write this review because the food was so horrible that I would have preferred to eat at McDonald's.
The food quality was extremely poor, making the overall dining experience very negative.

Consistently Terrible Service
I’ve had repeated bad experiences here. The staff is always rude, never smiles, and makes you feel unwelcome. I use Priority Pass, but I’m not sure if that’s why they treat me poorly or if that’s just how they are.
On my last visit, I ordered a sandwich to go and the waitress literally threw the bag into my hands. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Welcome or thank you doesn’t exist on their vocabulary.
This is always my last resort when I’m at SAN because the service is consistently terrible. Really disappointing.

Dirty tables, cold food, overpriced drinks
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we had to seat ourselves at a dirty table. After an extended wait, our food arrived cold.
The alcoholic beverages were overpriced and lacked any alcohol. To make matters worse, the same tables that were dirty when we arrived remained dirty throughout our visit. To top it off, the pay-yourself app defaults to a 22% tip, which felt unjustified given the overall experience.

Lousy Service and Subpar Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was lousy and extremely slow. I had to ask for napkins and silverware, and the waitress was short and not very friendly.
The food was very sub par. I had the BTLA, which was mostly bread, and the arugula and tomatoes were old. I would recommend eating at Stone Brewing instead.

Awful food, overpriced and poor service
I am truly sorry I didn’t read the reviews before dragging my family into this awful experience. I expected a lot more out of a PGA branded location. We got a table, but the QR code didn’t work.
After 10-15 minutes trying to get it to work, we asked one of the ladies bringing food out to help. They said our table was locked and they would unlock it right away. 5-10 minutes later it was unlocked.
We ordered some really, really overpriced food. When it finally came out, it could barely be classified as food. The chicken breast on the “nachos” was overcooked and dry.
The chicken tenders were also overcooked – there was no tender! The Baja fish tacos were overcooked, and the taco portion of these was burnt. As anyone in an airport would understand, we didn’t have piles of time to mess around and ask for our money back, then try to get a table at another location that would have been busy.
So, we crammed this awful “food” in and had to fly. I should have taken the wife to a really nice restaurant once back home. This was one of the highest bills for food out on our trip, and by far the very worst food.
Would NOT recommend. Go anywhere else! I will say the two ladies running around were decent when dealing with us, but also still not great.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Service
We visited this restaurant to take advantage of the Priority Pass benefit. The restaurant is well-decorated, but the service was very poor and the food was expensive and bland. We received terrible service from the waitress, who was not only rude but also slow to attend to our table, even though the restaurant was almost empty.
I ordered Mac and cheese for my daughter (it looked like frozen supermarket pasta heated in the microwave). I ordered hummus, feta, tomato, and pita bread, which was very bland with very little feta. My husband ordered a steak with eggs and bread, which was the dish that saved the meal; the meat was cooked correctly and was juicy.
At the end, the waitress demanded a tip, despite the poor service. We left the minimum amount she demanded. Overall, we did not enjoy the experience and regretted not going to the VIP area.

Horrible Service After Long Flight
Don't do it! My experience was horrible service. The rude waitress was the last thing I wanted to deal with after a long flight.
There are plenty of other options in the surrounding area!
