I never knew there was a good Italian restaurant near West Point Loma until recently. Our first experience was with an online delivery, and it was so good and delicious. The second time, we visited for lunch. The restaurant wasn't busy, but we received great service and enjoyed great food😊.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. Although the restaurant is located in a complex, it's well-kept. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. I’d definitely recommend it for a great Italian restaurant.

My family and I were amazed by our experience at this restaurant from the moment we walked in. Our waiter stepped outside to greet us as soon as our Uber arrived, which was a fantastic start. He explained everything exceptionally well, and the portions of food were amazing. The service was spectacular, and the atmosphere was great. The food was truly exceptional! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Italian food.

We were craving pasta and unsure of locations around Point Loma after our favorite restaurant in Shelter Island closed. My husband remembered an Italian restaurant by the grocery outlet. Wow wow wow. This restaurant served a delicious Orecchiette Con Slaccia! We've had Orecchiette from Puglia, Italy, and optimistically tried this restaurant, and we were incredibly impressed. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is cute! We will definitely return!

My experience at this restaurant was fabulous. In a town where Italian restaurants are plentiful, this place is a significant step above the rest. The food was exceptional in every way, thanks to a gifted chef. The restaurant is family owned, and the waiters truly care and possess deep knowledge of the food. The ambiance was pleasant, with no loud music, making for a quiet, easy-to-talk dining experience.

My experience at this restaurant was very very nice. We visited during Friday lunch service and were seated immediately. The restaurant offered a variety of menus, including the lunch, specials, kids, and main menus. It was great that we could order anything, including dinner items, which allowed me to fulfill my desire to "make my own pasta. " We enjoyed free warm bread and olive oil balsamic dip. For our meals, we ordered the pappardelle funghi with chicken, cheese tortellini, and kid’s spaghetti polpette. The food was super delicious, featuring fresh pasta and yummy sauces. The children particularly loved their food, especially the giant meatball. Each plate was a generous portion, and the food was so good that I was excited to take leftovers home. The service was so great too; the servers were very pleasant and friendly. They were attentive to my children, offering plenty of napkins when they got messy, and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. The restaurant recently opened in February 2025 and is still growing, but it's already an amazing place. I'm definitely coming back again!

My experience at Pezzi del mio Cuore was absolutely AMAZING. I'm not usually one to write reviews often, but this place truly deserves a wonderful one. It's incredible and should be packed all the time! The quality of the food and service was exceptional. The wait staff was attentive, offered great recommendations, and was very kind. The menu has a lot of great options, and they were also very accommodating regarding dietary needs. I particularly enjoyed the bread, the ricotta ravioli, pesto lasagna, and creme brûlée – all delicious! This will definitely be a spot we visit multiple times. It's now one of my new favorite spots in San Diego. The food is authentic, and the space is warm and inviting. Parking is easy with a free lot. I highly recommend trying it out; you will be so glad you did! This place is truly LOVELY and might become a favorite for you too. It's too easy to enjoy yourself here. Don't miss out! I can't wait to go again!
