I dropped by this little tavern after hearing about it from a friend, and honestly, it has such a cozy vibe. The lighting felt warm, dim in a nice way. The staff were super chill, not rushing us at all. I didn't expect much walking in, but the smell of grilled something right away made me even hungrier. There was a nice buzz going on, not too loud. It felt like one of those places where you could just hang out forever.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The environment is excellent for watching any type of event. The staff was incredibly fun and welcoming, contributing to the great vibes. I highly recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was marred by the service from a specific bartender. While all the other staff were wonderful, the heavier set male bartender working on 10/3 at 7: 30 pm provided a negative experience. I usually come here often, but I probably won’t now unless he’s not working. He seemed to discriminate based on race, stating, "If you’re not the right shade you won’t get service if you know what I mean. " I hope management will review the cameras to verify this. It's sad to leave a 1-star review as I really used to like this place.

My experience at this bar was a mixed bag. The biggest problem is the parking; there's no valet, and finding a spot is nearly impossible unless you live nearby, get dropped off, or use Uber. However, the food was really good, and the service was excellent. The bartenders were very, very nice, and the bouncer at the door made me feel safe.

I don't want you to visit this place, as it takes away the magic. However, they deserve credit for being a great beach dive bar from a bygone era. If you know these California coastal gems, you just know. The vibe is great. Be respectful and enjoy yourself.

During our San Diego visit, we went to what seemed like a nice neighborhood bar. Everyone was friendly. We experienced indoor dining with no wait. The atmosphere was rated a 4, and the service was also a 4. The noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk. The food received a rating of 4.

My experience at this unrivaled dive bar was fantastic! The vibe can’t be beat, and the prices won’t put holes in your credit card. They offer a great selection of tasty food, and best of all, pups are the most favorite of patrons. I absolutely love this place!

My experience at this bar was amazing! The atmosphere was great, and the service was incredible. I was served by Ian, and he was so good that I made a point to come back and see him again. I would certainly recommend this bar to anyone coming to the area. If you visit, make sure to ask for Ian and let him make you his choice of drinks. He is one of the best bartenders I’ve encountered. Owners and managers, don’t let this guy leave because he is amazing, and his personality and service make your bar stand out from the rest!
