I had an excellent experience with an online pickup order. The service was top-notch; the lady even called to confirm my pickup time as I was running late. Upon arrival, the pickup process was simple and easy. The pies, specifically 2 vanilla and 2 blueberry, were a beautiful birthday gift and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a sweet treat or a special gift for an occasion.

My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with friendly people and a great atmosphere. However, I wish they would use a normal toaster oven to heat their pies, as the crust gets ruined by whatever microwave thing they’re using. Despite this issue with the food preparation, the overall experience was good.

I just finished my beef pie and I must say that the inside was delicious. However, the outside crust needs work; it was very dry, bland, and tasteless. The restaurant needs to make it more like a traditional pie crust, soft and flaky.

I dropped by because their vegan pie caught my eye. The size was perfect and hearty. I appreciated that the crust was soft, neither too thick nor too thin. I enjoyed the lentil, yam, cumin, and onion pie, which was heated at their front table near the window. They offer a good variety, including meat, poultry, seafood, veggies, and vegan options, along with salads and sweet pies. I'm definitely going back to try more!

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I stopped by expecting decent service, but I was shocked at how unwelcoming the owner was. First, I politely asked for napkins and was told they were “only for dine-in customers”—even though I had just bought food. It's napkins, not gold. Then, when I asked to use the restroom, I was flat-out refused with no explanation, just a cold “no. ” For a business that relies on customers, they sure don’t act like it. Basic hospitality was completely missing. The food was excellent, receiving a perfect score, but the service was terrible, rated at 1. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with a shred of courtesy.

My experience at this restaurant was great for a quick bite. I tried their beef & potato pie, and it was crazy good. The place is super fire and quick if you're walking around looking for a place to eat.

My partner and I were looking for an afternoon snack, and this was the perfect stop for us. I got the chicken pie and he got the beef and potato pie. Both were delicious in their own ways. The service was super friendly. I’d definitely come back and try something different another day.

My experience at Peasant Pies was INCREDIBLE! This restaurant is a top spot worth a stop if you're in the area. It's also the highest-rated vendor among those offered via BearBuy at UCSF for sustainability and diversity. The food truly speaks for itself: delicious, handcrafted hand-held pies with a craveable exterior and flavorful interior. The ingredients are locally sourced, well-spiced, and delicious. A final note: the Team, from Ali to head baker, is AMAZING! They clearly put their hearts into it, and it shows. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

This was my first time trying the peasants pie, and it was so good! The server was very patient with us and even let us heat it up a little bit. They offer a very good selection with decent price. The environment was calm, and they do provide some seating inside. I think it’s a casual place to grab a quick breakfast or on-the-go lunch.

My experience at this restaurant was sooo good! We tried the chicken pie, beef and potato, and baby clam and tomato sauce. All of them were phenomenal. The price is also pretty decent, and the guy serving us was really nice. I highly recommend this place!
