I’ll start by saying the food was great. Perfectly al dente pasta. However, the service and ordering experience was subpar. We had to order standing outside of the restaurant, with the hostess before getting a table, which is odd for a sit-down restaurant that’s easily $100 for a meal for 2. We felt very rushed to choose and it just wasn’t a super enjoyable experience for a nice dinner out. I’d expected a little more hospitality and communication for the pricepoint.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The pasta here ROCKS, offering the best I've found in SF for an unbeatable price. It was cooked perfectly al dente and had the perfect amount of sauce. The sides and salads were also delicious, with perfect portioning. The wine selection was excellent. It's a great spot for both lunch and dinner, and there's almost never a wait. The service was consistently lovely: friendly, helpful, fun, unpretentious, and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed getting fresh pasta, ravioli, premade sauces, and little appetizers to go, discovering so many interesting little delicacies! The olive oil panna cotta is THE BEST, so definitely save room for dessert.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by their friendly staff. I was so happy to have finally stopped in for a visit as I’ve wanted to try this spot. It was seriously a pleasant experience from start to finish. Torn between a few options, I asked for recommendations and was guided through options of to-go pasta (mafaldine with black truffle) and sauce for dinner (pork sugo) plus a tasty glass of Lambrusco while I waited. Shoutout to Phoenix and the entire team! 🍷 The service and atmosphere were super solid, and I appreciated how every touch was incredibly thoughtful. Haven’t used the sugo yet, but I can comment that the prepared pasta was out of this world - perfect execution of pasta that I will think about again. I wish there were more of these in every town as I live up in Sonoma County. Will be back! 🍝

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the amazing pesto sauce and pasta. The staff were very sweet, contributing to a positive dining experience. While it can get a bit loud/crowded, it's overall a fantastic dinner spot.

This is a nice place to grab and go or cozy onto a table where they will deliver your counter-ordered food. The staff is friendly, and the pastas are fresh and cooked perfectly. They offer many sauce options to please a variety of palettes. It's a bit pricey than it appears at first sight because items are all ala carte; however, you are getting quality food. I especially appreciate that the auto tip options don't start at 18% and in the total after taxes. Suggested levels are lower, and the fact that it is a counter-service place, I appreciate they understand we are not tipping on full service and it is still optional.

My experience at this restaurant has been consistently positive, especially for their pasta and sauce to go. I've ordered it numerous times, and the food is always delicious, making it perfect for when I want a night in. The service at the counter is also great, with staff offering plenty of reccomendations.

It's great to see specialty shops like these. The restaurant part of the store lets us taste their pasta properly and perfectly made. It's also a reference on how the pasta is prepared. Try it, like it, but it and make it at home! Awesome pasta and variety.

During our farmers market visit, we had the vodka fusilli and carbonara. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, showcasing exceptional pasta quality. You can truly taste the difference in their fresh pasta, and the flavors were spot-on. We will definitely be back every time we're in the area for the market. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality Italian in the neighborhood.
