Don’t waste your time or money. Not worth it whatsoever, especially if you’re on vacation. The most bland tacos I’ve ever had, and I’m from Seattle. The food quality was a significant letdown, and the atmosphere and service also contributed to a poor experience.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was amazing, and I tried several different burritos, all of which were absolutely fire! I can't wait to go back!

My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The taquitos and mini tacos were good, but the burrito was just mid. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

My experience at the restaurant involved a good cali burrito. The hot sauce provided had zero spice, but I was able to get some spicy peppers on the side. The burrito itself was a perfect size with a good tortilla. The only issue was that all my guacamole and sour cream were concentrated towards the end of the burrito.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! All the talk about their California Burrito is true. My wife and I shared a Pastor and a California Burrito, eating half of each. I highly recommend trying their hot sauces, both red and green. The place is small but runs quickly and smoothly. While parking is a bit tough with only about 12 spaces, don't let that stop you. Just go a little further to the larger lot and walk about 30 seconds; your burrito is worth it.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag, primarily due to their restrictive hot sauce policy. While the CA burrito was decent for under $14, offering guac and sour cream, and the meat was cooked right, the portion size of the meat was lacking. The real issue, however, was the customer service regarding hot sauce. For a dine-in order, I was given only three small containers of hot sauce. When I requested more, I was told I could only have two additional containers. As an SD native, I've never encountered such stinginess with hot sauce, which is a staple for burritos here. This poor customer service makes me hesitant to return, despite the otherwise acceptable food value.

My experience at Ortiz's Taco Shop was the absolute BEST place in San Diego for AMAZING Mexican food! The staff were friendly and helpful, and their welcoming kindness made me feel like I was visiting family. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😊

I visited this restaurant at 10 am on a Monday morning. Parking was easy at this time, though I suspect it might be tighter on busier days. I ordered a California Burrito to go. The order was prepared quickly, and the cashier was helpful. Upon tasting the burrito, I particularly enjoyed the guacamole. While the California Burrito was good, it wasn't the absolute best I've had in San Diego.

My experience at this restaurant was a hit or miss type of place, and unfortunately, my last visit was a definite miss. I will not be going back. I asked if I could get a to-go container for my burrito, and for some reason, the older woman was really rude and refused to give me one. This was really odd since I had just paid $12 for an egg burrito and wanted it in a container, not a paper bag. There are plenty of other taco shops in the area.

My experience at Ortiz's was phenomenal! The food is simple yet perfect. If you think you've had a great burrito or an A1 taco, think again – unless you've been to Ortiz's, you've only had second best. The service was prompt, and the staff was super helpful. The prices are more than reasonable, making it a great value. The ambience is simple, with simple choices, and it all comes together perfectly. I highly recommend their Rolled Chicken Tacos.
