Delicious Hummus and Pita!
I was craving something savory in the afternoon and decided to get a small order of paprika hummus with a couple of pita to go. The hummus was wonderfully unctuous with no bitterness, just as it should be, and had a tasty drizzle of oil. The red sauce was not too spicy and had a good, fresh flavor (I didn't try the green one). The pita bread was nice and warm, with good elasticity and a tasty flavor. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and will return to try other dishes. 😊

Great Vegetarian Options and Sides
My experience at the restaurant was very positive, especially regarding the vegetarian choices, which were plentiful. They also offered rice options for those who prefer it. The absolute best part was all the sides; the green and red sauces were particularly good and spicy.

Good food, questionable business practices
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food itself was good, the business practices were less than desirable. I was charged an egg surcharge without prior notification, even though egg shortages are no longer extreme. Furthermore, the restaurant's refusal to split a check for more than two ways is quite obnoxious, especially considering their clientele often includes convention and hotel guests.

Lost Order and Mean Service
My experience was frustrating. I ordered from the preferred thing, but they lost the order. When I went to pick it up, the staff were acting mean. In response to the owner's response: "Your order from Oren's Hummus (order #e4a7a1d8)" Re: preferred, when you go "order online" from Google Maps, it says that Online Order by Doordash is preferred by the business.

Delicious Falafel Pita - My New Go-To!
I got the Falafel Pita to go as I work at Moscone West for conventions. I was really impressed. It was very tasty with a lot of flavors. I love it! This will be my To-Go spot for the next week.

Excellent Muhamarra and Service
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, dining here twice during our visit to SF. The Muhamarra was absolutely the best I have ever had, and the falafel pita’s were also very good. Our server, Juan, was the best we encountered. Thanks!

Great place for conversation
Carla was great! This is always a great place for conversation because it’s quiet, laid back, and they don’t rush you. I enjoyed my visit with my great journalist friend.

Pleasant Service, Classy Atmosphere, Uninspired Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The staff, from our very smiley waiter to the friendly food runner, was very pleasant and almost convinced me to give a higher rating. The atmosphere was also very nice, described as very upscale and classy, which again, nearly pushed it to a 4-star review. However, the food is the reason this review is a 3-star. It just wasn’t that interesting. I had the Moroccan beef hummus bowl, which was essentially a giant tub of hummus with ground beef and cinnamon on top. While it wasn’t bad, it’s not something I would ever want to have again. The spices added flavor, but the sweetness of the cinnamon overpowered other tastes, leaving little else to discern.

Excellent Hummus and Desserts, Loud Music
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with some notable drawbacks. It's one of the best hummus spots in San Francisco, making it a great place to eat out after a visit to SFMOMA. The superb desserts and fresh salads were highlights, and the excellent pita breads were a perfect accompaniment. However, the music was too loud and a bit annoying, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Authentic Israeli Flavors & Great Service
I’ve been here several times on a Sunday afternoon and it’s probably the best falafel outside of Tel Aviv. They serve perfect green falafel in fluffy Israeli pita, and the shnitzel sandwich is amazing. Everything tastes authentically Israeli. The servers are attentive and pleasant, and I've never had a bad experience. I don’t know what they put in their french press coffee, but I can’t stop drinking it. My only gripe is that it’s not cheap, but nothing in SF is. If you’re going to spend $20 for brunch, at least have it be very good, not just because Yelp tells you.
