I had an amazing experience at this restaurant while shopping on Haight and craving some home-y Indian food. Everything was delicious, from the samosa and chicken kadai to the garlic naan. The gulab jamun was particularly phenomenal. Our host, Sugham, made the experience even better with her super friendly demeanor, welcoming us, providing great recommendations, and ensuring we were well taken care of.

A simple order of dahl and rice would cost around $25, which is crazy even for this neighborhood.

When I wandered in, I was already hangry from a poor experience across the street. Luckily, I had found the antidote: Om. I ordered a Taj Mahal and the veggie pakora; daal ghost and naan. Reader, I have lunch for tomorrow packed up before me on the table, and I am sated and happy! You will not regret this delicious experience!
