Outstanding Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. I had one of the best meals I've ever eaten, with food that was incredibly fresh and flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the hummus with lamb and the meat combo plate.
The service was outstanding as well. Thank you!

Favorite Middle Eastern Spot!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's my favorite spot for Middle Eastern food in the Bay Area. I highly recommend trying the Mansaf and the Kunafa – they are absolute must-tries!
The people working there were also great.

Old Jerusalem: A Gem for Fresh Mediterranean Food
My experience at Old Jerusalem was absolutely incredible! I had been wanting to try them ever since I walked my dogs by while they were first setting up, and the person outside was so kind about my pups. I'm so glad I finally ordered.
It's genuinely hard to find truly fresh falafel and pita these days, but everything from Old Jerusalem tastes homemade with real care. I'm convinced there's someone's grandma or grandpa in the kitchen pouring love into every dish. The flavors are rich, balanced, and comforting.
We ordered the Lentil Soup, Plate of 6 Falafel, Chicken Shawerma (½ Hummus + ½ Rice), Arabic Salad, Pita Bread (x2), Hummus, Shawarma Sandwich, 6 Dolmas Plate, and Baklawa. Every single item was delicious, arriving fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I'll definitely be ordering again soon – this place is a gem!

Terrible Kunafa, Waste of Money
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Their kunafa was terrible; it lacked cheese and had a strange taste, nothing like authentic kunafa. It felt like a scam, and I would advise others not to waste their money here.

Delicious Food and Great Experience
My experience at the restaurant was really good. The food and service were excellent. We were served a bug portion of pita bread with the yummiest tahini dip and a tomato dip, along with brined olives and picked radish.
For our main courses, we ordered the chicken shawarma plate and fetta with meat. Both dishes were very flavourful and tasty, and the serving size was pretty big. They also had a great pistachio kunafa brownie for dessert!
The atmosphere was also great, rated 5/5, and the noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk.

Mixed Food, Great Service and Atmosphere
My experience at Old Jerusalem was a mix. The mansaf was good and tender, but the mixed grilled platter was a waste of money. I've never had such bad kabob before; it was super dry and charcoaled.
The lamb pieces were okay in taste but extremely chewy, and the chicken was alright. Both plates had big portions of rice. We also received an included appetizer with two mid sauces and not very tasty flatbread with pickled vegetables.
The atmosphere was great, as we enjoy Arabic music. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. We sat in the back patio, which was warm enough with a heat lamp, though it was turned off shortly after we sat down.
Parking is difficult on the street.
