Unique Bison Indian Taco Experience
My experience at the restaurant involved trying their Bison Indian taco. The taco was actually a frybread, which was a pleasant surprise. It reminded me of Taco Bell's chalupa bread, but I found this version to be way better.

Amazing Fry Bread Burger!
Food truck ftw! Anytime it’s outside of chucks, I go visit! My first time having fry bread since being in Arizona and it didn’t disappoint.
The Off the rez burger is meaty and satisfying while having the perfect amount of sauce! Love the fry bread, an amazing treat that satisfies the carb and sweet tooth! Forgot to take a pic because it was eaten so fast!
Lol.

Cool Cafe at the Burke Museum
My experience at this café, conveniently located at the entrance of the Burke Museum, was very positive. I was able to enjoy a drink without needing a museum ticket, and I appreciated that I had to finish my drink before entering the museum. I ordered a very nice, warm Mocha to combat Seattle's rainy weather, and it was delicious.
The café itself is set in a greenhouse style area, offering both tall stools and regular seating. It's a smaller café with two entrances: one from the hallway and one from the outside. Importantly, both the museum and the café are wheelchair accessible.
Overall, it was a great experience.

Delicious Sampling, Especially Dessert Fry Breads
My experience at the restaurant was a delicious sampling of their offerings. While the cost per person was higher, all of it was excellent. I especially enjoyed the dessert fry breads, including the seasonal jam (huckleberry) and lemon curd, which were tasty.
The service and atmosphere were rated a perfect 5.

Mixed Experience with Food and Service
My experience at the restaurant was a bit mixed. The food was decent overall, but there were some issues. The white rice in the bison bowl was overcooked and gummy, and the wild rice was scarce.
It seemed like pickled onions were used as a garnish for everything except the fry bread, and sometimes a garnish isn't necessary as a high-quality dish can stand on its own. On the service side, it's important to pay attention to the counter after ordering, as they do not always call your name when your order is ready.

Disappointing Drinks Despite Good Food
I had heard really good things about this place, but unfortunately, I was really disappointed 😭. The food was solid, but my experience with the drinks was not. I ordered the Blackberry Tea Latte, and my friend ordered a Cappuccino.
The tea tasted like it was just water with foam dumped on top – no steamed milk inside and no flavor. It was very weird, especially given how many good things I've heard. I suspect the quality of drinks may depend on who's working.

Disappointing Cafe Experience, Stick to Food Trucks
I came here solely based on my amazing experience from their off the rez food truck. I was hoping to get the pow wow burger here and was very disappointed they did not serve it at the physical cafe location; they only serve it from the food trucks. The food is expensive and portions are small.
It leaves you hungry unless you want to spend $20-30, and at that point, why not just go to a nicer restaurant? I just got fry bread and ONE taco and it was nearly $20, not including my expensive drink (warm chai latte). So great if you just want a small bite and money isn’t a factor.
The pow wow burger is great value and doesn’t leave you hungry, so I’m never coming back to this location again. I’ll just hope I find one of their food truck locations instead…

Excellent Food, Service, and Atmosphere!
My experience at this restaurant was excellent. The food and atmosphere were top-notch, and the staff was quick and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the shredded bison wild rice bowl; it was incredibly fresh, clean, and wholesome tasting.
I definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.
