Overpriced Sushi with Deceptive Practices
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the overpriced and low-quality sushi. I specifically inquired about ground fish before ordering, and the cashier assured me none was used. However, upon receiving my spicy salmon ($17) and spicy tuna ($11), both contained ground fish, and the salmon strips on top appeared dull grey and not fresh.
The atmosphere was also peculiar, with country music and ads playing, which felt out of place for a sushi restaurant. Additionally, the service lacked attention to detail, as we weren't provided with an empty cup for edamame or a small plate for soy sauce. Given the high prices for what felt like old salmon and mystery ground fish, the price-to-quality ratio is a joke.

Chill Cafe Vibes with Great Teriyaki!
My experience at this restaurant was like visiting a chill café, but with the added bonus of delicious teriyaki! I ordered a strawberry Spitzer and teriyaki. The strawberry Spitzer was my absolute favorite.
The atmosphere was also very good.

Unable to Order Before Closing
I tried to visit the restaurant before their stated closing time of 8 PM, as indicated on Google. Unfortunately, I was unable to place an order either online or in person, as nothing was available. This was a disappointing experience.

Good Teriyaki, Okay Sushi, Skip Boba
My experience at this restaurant was positive overall. I found the teriyaki to be better than their sushi, though both were good. I would suggest passing on the boba, as it was typical fast food boba.
The service was great, and the food was good. I would definitely come back!

Disappointing Food Quality at O Maki
My recent experience at O Maki was unfortunately disappointing. While I've enjoyed their food in the past, the fish was not as fresh as it used to be, tasting old and very fishy. This was surprising, especially since I ordered a fresh tuna roll and one of their popular deluxe rolls.
Previously, O Maki offered quite good and generous portions for sushi in Seattle, and I might consider giving them another shot.

Delicious Rolls and Tender Beef!
I had a really great experience at this restaurant. The rolls were fresh and well prepared, and the beef was well cooked and tender. My young kids loved the miso soup and devoured their food.
I can't wait to come back!

Consistently Great Takeout Japanese Curry
I have only ordered take out from this restaurant, so I can't comment on the atmosphere inside. However, I am always happy with my orders. The Japanese curry, specifically the chicken Katsu curry, is fantastic 🔥.
I consistently order this dish along with a sushi roll and have never been disappointed. They are very mindful of my avocado allergy and always ensure it's kept out of my rolls. While it's a bit off the beaten path in Capitol Hill, the availability of parking behind the building is a definite plus.

Cold food and horrible rice
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I ordered 20 minutes before pick up, but both the Chicken Teriyaki and the gyoza were served cold, suggesting they were prepared long before my order was placed. To make matters worse, the rice tasted horrible.
I question how such a basic item could be so poorly prepared. I sincerely hope this establishment improves or ceases to operate.

Great Teriyaki Chicken & Shrimp Tempura
This is one of my go-to places for takeout. The service is really fast. I enjoyed the chicken in my teriyaki, which was grilled well with crispy edges but not overcooked.
I also like the shrimp tempura roll. My boyfriend loves the strawberry spritzer drink. The dining space is small, but the service is good.
It's very yummy; you should try it!

Favorite Spot for Fast Bites
This restaurant is fast becoming my favorite place to grab a delicious fast bite. While the teriyaki was average, the rolls more than made up for it. The food quality was excellent, earning a 5-star rating.
The service was also highly rated, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It's a great option for dinner, with a price range of $10–20 per person.
