Absolutely Stunning Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely stunning, from the moment I walked through the door. The food was EVERYTHING, with perfected flavor. The drinks were smooth. The host was fantastic. I highly recommend coming here; you need it.

Authentic Bolognese with Outstanding Service
I finally had the chance to try this restaurant last night, right at opening time when it was nearly empty. The atmosphere was nicely lit with a lovely table decor, though the music was a smidge too loud for my taste. As a single diner without bar seating, I would have had to sit at a table. The service was outstanding – attentive but not overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our food before checking in. They also made excellent recommendations. For food, I ordered the Bolognese and a wine from Montepulciano, both of which were excellent. The Bolognese tasted very authentic, a true taste of Italy. My only significant critique is that the Bolognese was served WAY too hot, requiring several minutes to cool before I could even take a bite. It was scaldingly hot and could have easily burned someone. I hope they adjust the food temperature to be warm rather than scalding. I would absolutely go back and have already recommended it to others. Why wait to try it? !

Disappointing Experience: Mediocre Food, Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. If you're a fan of risotto, I'd suggest going elsewhere as it was not good. The pasta wasn't much better. Additionally, if you expect to see your bill before paying, you'll be disappointed as well. The tables were crammed together, the food was mediocre, and there was no bill presented. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Disappointing Special Occasion Due to Noise and Service
We chose this restaurant for a special occasion, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had an early reservation at 5: 30 PM, and the restaurant was empty initially. However, it quickly filled up, and as soon as there were more than a few tables seated, the acoustics became terrible. The noise level made it nearly impossible to have an intimate conversation without yelling. We couldn't hear each other or our server, making the dining experience feel more like being in a nightclub. The food tasted fine, though nothing spectacular. The wine list is solid, and the prices are reasonable. Beyond this, however, the experience was a disaster. Our server, Yisrael, initially seemed promising. However, due to the poor acoustics, he unfortunately misheard some of our orders. The primary issue was with a significant error on one of the entrées. Our entire table clearly heard Yisrael offer to comp (remove from the bill) the incorrect entrée. Yet, when the bill arrived, the item was still listed. When we questioned this, he argued with us, claiming he had only offered a free dessert. While the incorrect entrée was ultimately removed from the bill, the need to argue about it left a very bad taste in our mouth and overshadowed the evening. I cannot recommend this restaurant. The combination of terrible acoustics and argumentative service made for a deeply disappointing experience, especially when celebrating a special occasion.

Good Food, Loud and Warm Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The service was prompt, with the next course arriving exactly as the previous one finished. The tomato sauce was flavorful, and overall, the food was good. However, the restaurant was crowded and became quite loud. It also got very warm to the point of being uncomfortable, impacting the overall atmosphere.

Great Food, Terrible Service
If you want high-quality food, definitely go to this restaurant. However, if you expect good service, don’t even bother! On top of the terrible service, they have the nerve to charge a service fee. I just hope that fee goes straight to the kitchen staff instead of the servers.

Terrible Service, Disappointing Experience
We accidentally chose this place to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service staff were not friendly at all, and they couldn’t seem to get our orders right. They first took our appetizer orders, then came back 15 minutes later to take the hot starter orders, and later the main courses — but the appetizers still hadn’t even arrived. The food took a very long time to come out. While waiting, we asked for bread and olive oil, and they even charged us for that. We had brought a boxed cake with us for the celebration, and after the meal, they just placed the box on the table and left. When we asked if there was a knife, they said, “Don’t you have one? ” I should’ve told them I’d bring one from home next time — but there definitely won’t be a next time. On top of that, they charged a $20 cake fee! I’ve never seen anything like that before. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Salads and Bread Shine, Mains are Fair
My experience at this restaurant was a pleasant evening with a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the spinach salad, which was amazing, and the house salad, which was also incredible. The bread was delicious and served warm. For my main course, the fettuccine Alfredo was fair, lacking flavor, though the noodles were good. The New York steak special was good, but not great. For dessert, both the tiramisu and chocolate cake were good, but not great. I would go back for lunch specifically to have the salad and bread, and I might try a different pasta dish, as the lasagna looked good. Overall, it was a nice evening.

Charming Spot with Excellent Food and Service
My experience at this cute spot in Ballard was wonderful. Although the restaurant is not very big and can get busy, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is so quaint, featuring nice linen tablecloths, big windows, and a lovely atmosphere. The food and service were excellent! We enjoyed the mushroom risotto with scallops, and shared the Cacio e Pepe and spaghetti bolognese, along with some delicious bread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly good! Our waiter also made the experience fun. The wine list is very nice and affordable! Ciao!
