New Red Jade - Reviews

My experience at Red Jade was positive. I had a soup last night, and the broth was really good. I appreciated that they allowed substitutions. Previously, I found the broth to be too salty and maybe fatty, so this was a definite improvement. The man on the phone was nice and accommodating, and the delivery driver was also nice. Thank you, Red Jade.

I've finally decided to let go of this restaurant. While the crab rangoon used to be a draw, the reality is that everything else has been underwhelming. The chicken dishes, whether General Tso's or orange chicken, are consistently rubbery. The chow mein is flavorless and limp, essentially just a plate of oily noodles. The fried rice also lacks any real taste. Nothing about the food feels fresh, and I've learned this lesson repeatedly.

I ordered delivery and expected to get steamed rice with my order. However, I only received dumplings, which I don't care for. I would have preferred a choice between the two, but at the very least, I would have rather had rice instead of dumplings.

My favorite SF Chinese restaurant. I had a great experience with their Chow Mein and sesame chicken, which were excellent. The service was wonderful. I would advise against ordering through Door Dash if you are within their delivery radius. They have their own delivery service, which helps keep costs down, and sometimes, if you place a large enough order, they might surprise you with a bonus item.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! All the food was soooo good. I would especially recommend trying the fried rice with General Tso's chicken. The service and atmosphere were both rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5. We were a group of 3-4 people and the price per person was $20–30 for dinner.

Our experience at the restaurant was excellent on all aspects. Despite arriving at 9 pm on a Friday for an impromptu birthday dinner for a friend, our trio was seated immediately and ordered within 3 minutes. The staff cordially accommodated our last-minute arrival. We enjoyed the Orange Crunchy Chicken, Chow Mein Chicken (still steaming), Golden Brown Pot Stickers, and Fried Rice. The vegetables were also EXCELLENT. The bill was around $130, and I tipped $35, bringing the total to $160 something. I felt the tip was fair, though I could have tipped more. The vegetables were EXCELLENT 👍.

My experience at this restaurant was truly wonderful. I had their wonton soup, which was absolutely amazing; I even dream about it! Everything else I've eaten here has also been wonderful. The prices are reasonable, and the service is served efficiently.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was very tasty, and the portions were more than sufficient. The price was unbeatable for San Francisco. The staff was very polite and accommodating. I can only recommend this beautiful and cozy place to everyone.

I make it a point to visit at least twice a year when I'm in the City. The food quality is exceptional, and the overall experience makes it a must-visit destination for me.

My experience at New Red Jade was highly disappointing. I was very unhappy with my selections. The orange chicken had zero orange flavor and I would think twice about feeding it to my dog. The green onion pancakes were undercooked except at the edges and were about twice as thick as I'm accustomed to. When I commented to the server about my dissatisfaction, no accommodation was made to compensate or acknowledge my feedback. To top it all off, the fortune cookie was stale. Luckily, a friend recommended another nearby Chinese place the following night that I thoroughly enjoyed, allowing me to expunge the taste and experience of New Red Jade.
