My experience at Nara was excellent. This sushi restaurant provides quality fish. The happy hour menu from 5-7 offers great value. I ordered the Tai, Sake, Hamachi, and Hotate, and the fish was flavorful. The fish portions were generous, especially considering they were served in hand rolls.

My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, especially during happy hour. The happy hour menu and the unexpectedly large beers made us very content 🤪. We also enjoyed the fresh seafood and interesting rolls. However, the seaweed was a bit soggy, which made it difficult to bite things apart 😬.

I came here for lunch with a friend, specifically looking forward to having nigiris. Unfortunately, we discovered they weren't available during lunch hours. However, our server was incredibly patient and guided us through the menu, helping us find suitable alternatives. Despite our initial confusion and disappointment about the lack of nigiris, the sushi choices presented by our server were convincing. The rolls were generously packed with fresh fish and bursting with great flavors. We ended up loving them! I'll definitely have to return for nigiris during dinner time.

I visited for happy hour and had an amazing experience. The food was incredible, as always. Our server, Hiromi, provided the friendliest service and had the best recommendations. The atmosphere was also a perfect 5/5.

My experience at this restaurant during happy hour was disappointing. The happy hour, from 5-7 pm, is exclusively for hand rolls. I don't recommend this place if you're seeking a good price-to-portion-to-flavor ratio. My sister and I ordered three hand rolls, which we finished in about a second each, yet we still spent nearly $40 before tip and after tax, even during happy hour. The atmosphere, decor, and regular menu items are all just 'mid' and outrageously expensive for what's offered and how it tastes. I suggest trying House of Sushi instead.

My experience with this restaurant has been consistently negative due to issues with DoorDash drivers. The restaurant staff are not good with DoorDash drivers, as they are always late, typically 15 to 25 minutes past the expected time. Furthermore, the restaurant staff are unwilling to wait for these late drivers and often cancel the orders. This behavior is not good for DoorDash and Uber Eats drivers.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The sushi chefs were both friendly and skilled. I particularly enjoyed the delicious rolls and the great service. They offer a good variety, including uni from Hokkaido and Santa Barbara, as well as great specials. The atmosphere was rated a 5, service a 5, and food a 5, with a very quiet noise level and no wait time.

We had a last-minute date night dinner here and it was fantastic. We ordered the Chef Choice's Nigiri and Sashimi and added a Foggy Paradise roll. The restaurant was super accommodating regarding a shellfish allergy and provided great detail on each fish for our Omakase. The food was a perfect 5/5, the service was a perfect 5/5, and the atmosphere was also rated a perfect 5/5.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! Hiromi and the staff are amazing. I found the Japanese food to be the best on Polk and Nob Hill /Russian Hill Districts. While there are many great Japanese restaurants in SF, this one stands out as one of the FRESHEST I've tasted. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
