Delicious Katsu, Great for Takeout
My experience was centered around the delicious chicken Katsu. It's important to note that there is no seating available; everything is strictly takeout. The service was quick, making it a very great lunch grab.

Delicious Curry and Katsu, Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. The curry was delicious and flavourful with a medium spice level that was just right. The katsu was also excellent – crispy and not dry.
Ordering takeout at the window was easy, and I was pleased with the large portions and reasonable price. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

Disappointing Katsu and Limited Options
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing, primarily due to the Katsu meat, which was dry and had breading that was not crispy. The pieces were also very thick and hard to eat, leading me to believe it wasn't authentic Katsu but rather just fried meat. While the curry itself was decent, the rice was overly sticky.
Furthermore, the lack of dine-in options and the inability to even wait inside for orders significantly detracted from the overall experience.

Subtle Curry, Flavorless Katsu
I ordered the Katsu Curry for dinner via DoorDash. The curry itself was subtle and good. However, the katsu was flavorless and unseasoned.
On a positive note, I loved the pickled vegetables. Overall, I probably wouldn’t order again.

Manager Hung Up During Call
My experience when I called the restaurant was not positive. The manager I spoke with was not super friendly and seemed annoyed. When I inquired about something she couldn't help with, she simply hung up the phone.

Great Curry Portions, City Prices
My experience at this takeout hole in a wall spot was pretty good. I really enjoyed how they provide a generous container of curry, enough to generously fill the takeout container! The flavor was excellent, and the portions were substantial enough to leave me feeling full.
While it is on the pricier side, this is expected given its city location. I definitely recommend ordering ahead.

Disappointing Curry Lacked Flavor
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing, primarily due to the food. The curry I had didn't taste of much and felt like it was made from powders rather than proper ingredients. Additionally, the carrots were undercooked, and there was a notable absence of potato in the dish.
This was also observed by another diner.

Disappointing Curry, But Decent Veggie Options
My experience involved ordering at the window and waiting outside for my food. While I appreciate that recipes vary, I was hoping for a curry more similar to those I've had in Japan. This particular gravy felt thinner and less flavorful.
The amount of tofu and vegetables in the curry was good, though I was hoping for onions and potatoes in addition to the carrots and broccoli. Unfortunately, the carrots were really undercooked. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be returning.

Perfectly Spicy Curry Takeout
My experience with the curry was excellent. The curry has a deep flavor that pairs wonderfully with any protein. I prefer my curries spicy, and the hot level was at the perfect spot.
It's important to note that takeout is only available from the window.

Delicious Ebi Katsu Curry in FiDi
It’s been a very long time since I’ve been here. I was in the FiDi running errands and decided to get my lunch here to go. I got the ebi katsu curry.
The person who took my order was super nice and asked if I wanted brown or white rice. I was initially unsure but was happy to learn I could do half/half. My order was ready within the 15 minutes I was out running errands.
The meal came with 3 huge pieces of fried shrimp, cabbage, pickled daikon, and rice. The portion of rice was perfect for the amount of shrimp, ensuring no bite was without it. The shrimp itself was perfectly fried, super crunchy, and very meaty.
The curry was good; I got it mild and it had a slight sweetness. The brown rice was soft, and after mixing, I couldn’t distinguish it from the white rice. I think I would opt for full brown rice next time.
After taxes and tip, the meal came out to around $20. I was ravenous and ate the entire thing, feeling perfectly full. While I think I could stretch a chicken or pork katsu curry into two meals, this was a satisfying single serving.
If you want traditional Japanese curry in the FiDi, Muracci’s is the place to go. However, definitely order before noon to avoid the lunch rush, as the wait can be very long.
