Disappointing Service at MIXT
I’m disappointed with my recent experience at MIXT on Polk Street. The service I received from a young man and a young woman was unprofessional and unfriendly. I was in uniform at the time, and I couldn’t help but feel I was being treated differently because of it.
Poor customer service can really affect a business, and this experience reflected that. I genuinely hope management provides better training to the staff, as MIXT has potential but the current service leaves a very negative impression.

Shrinkflation and Declining Value
My experience at this restaurant has been a gradual decline over the years. The salads are noticeably smaller now than they used to be, which is a clear example of shrinkflation, especially since the price hasn't increased significantly. Consequently, the value just isn't there anymore.

Disappointing Barbecue Bowl Experience
My experience at the restaurant involved ordering the barbecue bowl. Unfortunately, the entire top of the bowl was covered with BBQ sauce, making the dish very plain. It tasted primarily like BBQ sauce with added crunch from deep-fried onions.
Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great Salad Options, Limited Vegan Choices
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. It wasn't a popular place, as it was empty when we arrived. However, they offer great salad options.
On the downside, there aren't a lot of options if you are vegan or vegetarian.

Impressive Fast Food Chain Ambiance
My experience at this restaurant was notable for the a lot of attention to interior. It's rare to see that at a fastfood chain. This establishment might be a worthy competitor to Sweetgreen.
Hmmmm.

Mixt's Best Location for Fresh Salads
My experience at this Mixt location was fantastic. It's my favorite spot because the food just tastes better here. I opted for a build-your-own salad with falafel, and the veggies were incredibly fresh.
I particularly enjoyed the roasted poblano sauce. The service and atmosphere were also top-notch, both receiving a perfect score.

Good Food, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The salads were quite good, earning a high rating. However, the service was terrible.
The staff member forgot to include a third of the ingredients in my bowl, seemingly throwing them away. They were hardly communicative and appeared angry throughout the meal.

Outstanding Service from Ruso!
My experience at the Mixt on 2300 Polk Street was outstanding, largely due to the exceptional service provided by team member Ruso. He went above and beyond, and the restaurant would benefit from having more employees like him. Very well done!

Bait and Switch Tactics
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to a broken promise. I was offered a 50% off on my first meal, but this was refused due to a technical problem. This felt like a bait and switch, akin to propaganda.
Consequently, I won't be returning because of their lack of good faith. The salad was just salad, and with so many other good restaurants available, this establishment lost my business.

Delicious Salad and Great Grand Opening Experience!
I visited this MIXT restaurant on Grand Opening day to enjoy some salad. They offered samples of their crispy cauliflower appetizer with aioli dressing, which was delicious. The menu features a wide selection of salads and sandwiches.
I ordered the warm curry chicken salad bowl, and it was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared by an enthusiastic staff member. I dined in the restaurant on a Monday midday when it wasn't busy. The restaurant has a patio on the Green Street side and some tables at the front.
The opening day was made even better when the cashier mentioned a special code for the day, giving me 50% off my bowl. I also received a small bouquet of dried flowers, which was a wonderful welcome. The space is reminiscent of the former Le Boulange bakery.
For weekend visits, it might get crowded, so going early or getting takeaway to enjoy at the Presidio is recommended for a healthy meal outdoors.
