MIXT Salads - Reviews

I’ve been to many Mixt locations, but this is the best one! The staff are all amazing and warm people with great personalities, and the food is great too ☺️. It always cheers me up when I get a salad here 😊.

I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions, I've been served avocado that was unsuitable for consumption; it was disgusting. I would much rather they inform us they are out of avocado than serve rancid, spoiled avocado on my salad. It's gross. This issue has happened again, with rancid, spoiled avocado on my salad (as seen in the second picture). I truly wish your employees would just state they are out of avocado instead of serving it, as it's gross.

I am requesting a reusable container takeout option. I am currently walking an extra three blocks to SweetGreen, which offers this option, because I am tired of throwing away disposable bowls. I am also concerned about the environmental impact of your compostable bowls, as they do not break down in commercial composting facilities when present in large quantities, and Bay Area facilities are already saturated. Therefore, your compostable bowls are likely ending up in the landfill.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The stations were super messy, and an employee carelessly dumped crisp crumbs into my salad. She then used her hands to scoop toppings, rushing through the process despite no line. I much prefer Sweetgreens over Mixt, as they are a lot cleaner and their employees actually care.

My experience at Mixt was fantastic! I love this place; the salads are always fresh and tasty, and the ingredients are high quality. The portions are big enough to satisfy, and the price is fair for what you get. I highly recommend Mixt for a healthy and delicious meal in the FiDi.
