Great Cheesesteak, Fast Service, Modern Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I ordered the mission cheesesteak, which cost $14 and was very good. The staff were very nice and quick, and I received my order in just 4 minutes.
The interior was also quite modern, and the place felt comfortably.

Excellent Gluten-Free Sandwich Experience
My experience was with a takeout/office catering order, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. However, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food was great. As someone with celiac disease, I was initially nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch.
Upon calling Mission Picnic, they reassured me they could prepare my sandwich on gluten-free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross-contamination. My sandwich arrived in a separate bag, distinct from gluten-containing items, and was clearly marked "gluten free" in multiple places. I felt very safe, and the sandwich itself was delicious!

Best Tomato Soup Ever!
Feeling a bit under the weather, I was craving tomato soup and decided to try Mission Picnic for the first time. My experience was fantastic! I absolutely loved it.
The Tomato Soup was the best I've ever tried, and it was surprisingly affordable at under $6 for a nice, small portion. I highly recommend this place.

Delightful Sandwiches and Great Company
I was invited for a sandwich and I'm so glad I went! We shared the BLT and the San Franciscan sandwiches. They were perfectly sized – not too big to handle or bite into, yet substantial enough to satisfy my hunger.
The guacamole had a nice kick, and the bacon offered a satisfyingly soft crunch. The staff were wonderfully delightful, contributing to a great time enjoying my meal and the company.

Excellent Catering Experience!
I placed a catering order for a work event through Mission Picnic and let me tell you, they were SO EASY TO WORK WITH. They were patient and answered all of my questions, and were easy to get in contact with and super responsive. The food was delivered on time, and the warm items were still warm.
The cold items were also still cold. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, sides, empanadas and drinks. Nothing was missing from our order.
And the food was delicious. If I ever need to cater sandwiches on the peninsula, I will be coming here again.
