Juicy Fried Chicken & Great Portions
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I ordered the 2-piece chicken with candied yams and cornbread. The fried chicken was incredibly juicy, some of the best I've had in a while.
I was also impressed with the great portions, especially compared to other places in the area. I highly recommend this spot!

Delicious Fried Chicken & Sides
My experience at this restaurant was great! They are mostly a fried chicken specialist, and the food was really tasty. I also tried an oxtail dish and a pork chop dish.
The sides were delicious, including mac and cheese, potato salad, and collard greens. They also had yummy cornbread. The prices were reasonable, and they offered cocktails.
Overall, a very enjoyable meal. 👍😎

Delicious Food and Friendly Service!
My experience at this restaurant was a 10/10! As someone who admits to being a picky eater and a self-proclaimed foodie, I was thoroughly impressed. The servers were super friendly, and the vibes were nice with pleasant, not-too-loud music in the background.
The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the Mango Habanero wings, which were juicy with an amazing sauce that truly tasted of mango. While I enjoy spice, this sauce was not spicy at all, with the mango flavor being dominant, but it was still really good.
The 4 piece chicken meal came with Mac and cheese and potato salad. The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy, giving a classic feel, and I noticed bits of broiled cheese even in the deeper layers, which was a great touch. The potato salad had perfect seasoning and was also really yummy.
The chicken pieces were a decent size, with a hint of rosemary and a very crunchy texture. We also ordered a side of hot honey sauce, which was recommended by our server for the chicken and cornbread. I enjoyed it, especially with the cornbread.
The cornbread was yummy and crumbly; while I prefer mine a bit moister, the flavor was great, and the hot honey added the needed moisture. Overall, I would 100% come here again and am thinking of bringing friends!

Good Food, Bad Service
My experience at this restaurant offered some good soul food. While the price point is not cheap, the portion of food you receive is generous. However, the customer service was a significant issue.
The staff member who generally distributes orders has a bad attitude. I overheard her talking about me and discussing inappropriate topics while waiting. If the customer service improves, this place could receive better reviews.

Excellent Fried Chicken and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The staff were very friendly, and the 80's shows displayed on the bartender TV wall was a great touch. The fried chicken was wonderfully cooked.
We've enjoyed this establishment twice, and their services don't disappoint. I've recommended this restaurant several times and will definitely patronize this restaurant again.

Excellent Soul Food with Minor Hiccups
My wife, her sister, and I visited Minnie Bells on a recent Saturday afternoon after attending a graduation ceremony. We arrived about an hour before closing, and the place was empty. Upon entering, we were directed to the bar to order, and noticed the menu was abbreviated for lunch, with fried chicken being the only entrée.
We ordered our food and helped ourselves to water, then sat wherever we pleased. While the self-service aspect was a bit surprising, it's their model and not offensive. I ordered the 2-piece fried chicken combo with collard greens and mac and cheese, along with a creme brulee banana pudding for dessert.
My sister-in-law had the same combo with sweet potatoes. My wife opted for the lunch special, a 2-piece combo with cornbread and french fries. The fried chicken was excellently cooked – crisp, well-seasoned without being salty, and not oily at all.
The sweet potatoes were well-seasoned, though not candied as advertised, and seemed to be made from canned ingredients. The collard greens were lightly seasoned but perfectly tender with a slight texture. The french fries were also perfectly cooked, crisp, and not oily.
Surprisingly, the mac and cheese was very good, despite the noodles being overcooked and a bit dry; it was extremely flavorful, so much so that my wife requested an extra order to go. The cornbread was average, with a dark appearance and lacking significant corn flavor. We took the banana pudding home, but unfortunately, the brulee topping had melted, and the dessert was excessively sweet for our taste.
The bill for the three of us, including one soda, exceeded $120. Overall, the service was really good; the staff were very friendly and attentive, even though ordering at the bar and self-serving water was a bit unusual. While we were there, a couple of tables filled up, and there was a constant stream of takeout orders.
Minnie Bells is one of the very few Soul Food restaurants I'd rate as very, very good in over 30 years. Despite the food being tasty, the chicken wasn't freshly fried, and the mac and cheese dried out from being held at temperature, leading to the chicken not being as juicy as it could have been. Nevertheless, we would all go back.

Delicious Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese!
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the food. I was impressed by the Fried Chicken, which was very good. The Cornbread was also great, though I won't be ordering the hot honey butter again as it was just okay.
The Candy Jams were a pleasant surprise, improving with each bite. The Mac and Cheese Balls were absolutely out of this world, perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. To finish, the Caramel Cake was absolutely delicious.
The Atmosphere and Service both received a perfect score of 5, indicating a very pleasant dining environment and excellent staff attention. However, finding Parking was somewhat difficult.
