Good Sushi Spot with Minor Issues
My experience at this restaurant was generally positive. It's a good place to get sushi around Southlake Union. While the sushi rice was OK, I wished there was a little less. The sushi itself tended to break apart and was a tad bit on the dry side. However, the sushi meat and all of that stuff was very flavorful. Overall, it's a good spot.

Delicious Sushi and Great Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I tried the Oraking and spicy tuna rolls, which offered a delicious blend of flavors. The atmosphere was excellent, and I'm definitely coming back.

Disappointing Surprise Box Experience
My experience at this restaurant was overall really weird. I ordered a "surprise box" for the first time through Too Good To Go. Upon arrival, I waited about 5 minutes without being greeted by either of the two workers present. The employee simply handed me a to-go box containing only 3 pieces of inarizushi with plain white rice, no other toppings, meats, or veggies. I later checked their website and found that ordering the inarizushi directly would have been cheaper than the surprise box. My girlfriend has had much better experiences with Too Good To Go here, receiving a lot of good quality food. Another customer behind me also ordered through the app and received a soup with just broth and noodles, and the container lacked a lid. It felt like a straight-up rip-off, and I doubt they ever include sushi in the surprise boxes, unlike other places. While I don't usually write bad reviews, the terrible service, feeling ripped off by paying more than the menu price, and the overall weird experience led me to give this place 1 star.

Delicious Vegan Sushi and Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I tried the Vegan Tofu and Avocado sushi rolls, which were absolutely delicious, especially with the mango mikan sauce. I would definitely go back again.

Best Sushi Experience Ever!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience at this restaurant was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. What truly made the place special was the chef. He was unbelievably friendly, remembered me every time, and made me feel like a welcome guest rather than just another customer. It’s the kind of place that turns dinner into a highlight of your week.

Quick, Delicious Sushi with Chill Vibes
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly convenient, especially when I popped in between errands. I was in and out in record time, feeling like a "sushi ninja" with my chopsticks. The menu is straightforward yet "sneaky-good. " The spicy tuna roll was reliable, and the coho salmon nigiri was so fresh it practically introduced itself. I might have "over-committed" on the soy sauce packets! The staff were "friendly in that chill, 'we're not trying too hard but we actually care' way. " There are "no frills, " just good sushi, good vibes, and zero pressure to be a sushi expert.

Best Sushi Spot in SLU!
My experience at this restaurant exceeded all expectations! The presentation was modest, but the sushi rolls were thick with large cuts of fish. I had a crab and avocado roll with seared salmon layered on top, and it was legitimately the best roll I've had in multiple years! The sushi chef was a kind young man who made sushi with care and clearly enjoyed his new working environment. I also had the chance to speak with the highly ambitious owner, who is clearly the type of person that inspires those around him. 😊 This is officially my new favorite sushi spot and my new favorite spot in SLU!

Good Food, Poor Service Experience
I genuinely enjoyed the food here and sincerely wish the service was better. On both occasions I ordered, the food took an excessively long time to be ready. During my second visit, I ordered two identical poke bowls and a gyoza, which took 40 minutes to prepare. Furthermore, the orders were not made correctly. I consistently request half green and half brown rice for my poke bowls, but each time it was made with all white rice. Fortunately, I discovered this before leaving, and they provided some salad. However, the gyoza offered no chance for correction; I discovered they were vegetarian instead of the beef and pork I ordered after biting into them.

Good Potstickers and Seating
My experience at the restaurant involved trying the gzoya (potstickers) veg, which I liked. They are priced at $12. The restaurant also offers good seating space.
