Good Sushi Spot with Minor Issues
My experience at this restaurant was generally positive. It's a good place to get sushi around Southlake Union. While the sushi rice was OK, I wished there was a little less. The sushi itself tended to break apart and was a tad bit on the dry side. However, the sushi meat and all of that stuff was very flavorful. Overall, it's a good spot.

Disappointing Surprise Box Experience
My experience at this restaurant was overall really weird. I ordered a "surprise box" for the first time through Too Good To Go. Upon arrival, I waited about 5 minutes without being greeted by either of the two workers present. The employee simply handed me a to-go box containing only 3 pieces of inarizushi with plain white rice, no other toppings, meats, or veggies. I later checked their website and found that ordering the inarizushi directly would have been cheaper than the surprise box. My girlfriend has had much better experiences with Too Good To Go here, receiving a lot of good quality food. Another customer behind me also ordered through the app and received a soup with just broth and noodles, and the container lacked a lid. It felt like a straight-up rip-off, and I doubt they ever include sushi in the surprise boxes, unlike other places. While I don't usually write bad reviews, the terrible service, feeling ripped off by paying more than the menu price, and the overall weird experience led me to give this place 1 star.

Best Sushi Experience Ever!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience at this restaurant was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. What truly made the place special was the chef. He was unbelievably friendly, remembered me every time, and made me feel like a welcome guest rather than just another customer. It’s the kind of place that turns dinner into a highlight of your week.
