Excellent Staff and Enjoyable Experience
I visited this restaurant with a few colleagues for dinner and a drink. The staff was great, offering excellent suggestions about what was good and what was worth trying. Kat and Marcella, who served us, were particularly helpful, and we even discussed the restaurant and the meaning of 'Mistiza'. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

Delicious Filipino Feast with a Fun Vibe
My experience at Mestiza was really great! The food was truly delicious. We ordered the family meal and enjoyed the coconut curry, pork adobo, chicken lumpia, garlic rice, miso braised greens, collard greens, and Caesar salad. It was satisfying to eat 7 to 10 vegetables during a filling meal. My personal favorites were the pork adobo, the curry sauce with rice, and the collard greens. The lumpia was also fantastic. The cocktails, being soju-based, were perfect for me as I can't drink a lot of alcohol. While the tables are small and the plating is compact despite large portions, making it feel like playing Tetris, it contributes to a fun vibe on the patio. We even saw a party order the Kamayah feast, which looked impressive. The front of house felt a bit messy and the entrance was odd, but the amazing meal more than made up for any waiting in the kitchen. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic Filipino Flavors!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The Lumpia, garlic fried rice, pork adobo, and noodles were all great. My Filipina girlfriend, who knows Filipino food well, also thought it was great, which is a true testament to the quality of the food. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was also top-notch. We enjoyed our meal on the outdoor patio, and the overall food quality was a perfect 5/5.

Cozy Patio Gem with Mosquito Woes
Mestiza is quite a gem! They only have an outdoor patio, which is small but feels intimate and cozy. I can picture having family gatherings here. Love the heaters! The only thing I did not like is that there are mosquitoes. Since there are plants, it might be a good idea to plant citronella or anything that will get rid of the mosquitoes. The food was quite tasty - nothing too strong or overpowering. They also gave out generous portions. The service was also good. There’s only one server and though it seems overwhelming, she still gave great service.

Loved the Asian Fusion Garden Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! We loved the cute outdoor garden seating area. It's an Asian fusion restaurant with a few vegan options. I enjoyed the mushroom sisig, and my companion raved about the pork adobo. We also shared the shishito peppers, which were so good! The server was friendly and helpful in guiding our order. We will definitely be returning.

Great Group Spot with Private Patio
I visited this restaurant with a group of 6 and we were fortunate to have a pretty private experience on the back patio. The beautiful back patio area was a highlight, and I really appreciated the attentive staff. Our food came out quickly, with appetizers arriving in about 10-15 minutes and all family plates served together. The family platters were excellent for sharing; my favorites were the curry, noodles, and the appetizer chicken lumpia. Portion sizes were solid, even though the plates appeared small. The ube yogurt was super good, and I enjoyed a whole one without feeling too heavy. The overall vibes are good here, with a super modern and upscale feel. The only downside was that it was a bit cold outside on the patio, and there were no heaters. Overall, this was a nice place for a group gathering, offering plenty of privacy for deep conversations without being disturbed. It's also not too expensive if you share the family platters. Atmosphere: 4, Service: 4, Food: 4.

Great Cocktails and Veggie Options
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with a focus on good Filipino food that, while not strictly vegan, offered a great selection of vegetables. The cocktails were really great, and the service was excellent. It's important to note that outdoor seating only is available, so bringing a jacket for dinner is advised. Reservations are recommended, and parking can be difficult to find.

Good Fusion Food, Unreliable Hours
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of positive and slightly inconvenient. The Mexican/Asian fusion food was pretty good, and I was impressed by the large vegetarian selection, including some great curry options. The atmosphere and service were rated a 4, indicating a generally pleasant experience. However, the hours can be a bit hard to guess / unreliable, which was a point of frustration.
