My sister and I flew in from out of state to be with a family member in the hospital at USFC. Our experience at the restaurant was very positive. The food was fresh and delicious. The chicken noodle soup tasted like home cooking. The "Boss" was so friendly. All employees actually seemed to like being there and serving us. Go visit!

In a city where parking is notoriously difficult, it’s a refreshing experience to always find parking available here. The food is excellent, and I love the atmosphere.

My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I ordered a burger that was small and did not taste or look like burgers from other fast-food places. To make matters worse, it cost three times the price of a typical fast-food burger. I found it to be totally not worth it and super overpriced.

Absolute recommendation! We were there for breakfast as our motel was just around the corner. The breakfast was very good. The atmosphere was very, very, very good, simply cult. We can recommend it, and we would definitely come back here again.

My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing, despite the good service. I ordered 2 eggs with sausage, and the food took a long time to come out. When it arrived, it looked like plastic. I had asked for grilled potatoes but received hash browns instead, and the tortillas were as hard as frisbees. The menu is also overpriced. While the service was good, the overall food quality and value were not up to par.

Our experience at this restaurant was very pleasant. The accueil (welcome) and cadre (atmosphere) were very agreeable. The serveurs (servers) were sympathiques (friendly). The restauration (food) was of qualité (quality), especially the burgers and the saumon (salmon). The prix (prices) were corrects (reasonable). We dined here for 3 nights and were not disappointed.

My experience at Mel’s Drive In on Lombard was fantastic! It's a classic spot with great vibes. I stopped here for breakfast before hitting the road, and it totally hit the spot. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and bacon on the side, which was super fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. My friend got the breakfast burrito, which they called a “burrito bomb, ” and loved it. The coffee was hot, and the service was friendly. The retro diner atmosphere with the little jukebox at the booth made the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a real San Francisco breakfast experience before a long drive!

My experience at this restaurant was very average. The fries were straight from the packet and not fried enough. The burger was extremely average, bare minimum. It was pretty disappointing for our first diner experience, especially since we were staying opposite at the Cow Hollow Hotel and it looked cool.

My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with food and service being great. However, a significant issue arose with the owner operator parking his Mercedes in a handicapped space, setting a poor example that others seemed to follow.

My experience at this restaurant was largely defined by the food quality. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it arrived like a brick. The eggs were hard, and the potatoes were raw. While the waitress was kind, the food was so unappetizing that I couldn't eat it, even under the influence.
