Crawloween 10/10 Experience!
My best friend and I had a 10/10 experience during Crawloween. The drinks were cheap and good, and the music and club vibes were absolutely everything we wanted.

Comedy Show's Beer Was a Joke
My experience was quite disappointing. The only thing funny about the comedy show was the taste of the tap beer. To add to the frustration, after paying for a ticket online, the host further asked for donations.

Misleading AI Comedy Show
I strongly advise staying away from this place. We booked tickets for ‘Laugh GPT: SF’s First AI-Powered Stand-up Comedy Show’, expecting something unique and innovative as advertised. Instead, we walked into an almost empty bar with a handful of local comedians delivering unfunny, low-effort sets.
There was nothing AI-powered about the show…just some guys and the same tired jokes. It felt misleading. Definitely not worth the time or money.

Hit or Miss Fun Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a bit hit or miss. I believe they sometimes get overwhelmed when they are busy, but overall, it's usually a fun time. The service and atmosphere were both rated a 4 out of 5.

Lively Nightlife, Food Uncertain
My experience at this bar was centered around its nightlife, which was incredibly lively. I'm not sure about the food, but the atmosphere for a night out was great.

Great Atmosphere, Food Not So Much
My experience at this restaurant was primarily about the atmosphere and service, which were both outstanding. The place was off the hook till 2 in the morning, and the DJ was killing it. Everybody was grooving, creating a fantastic vibe.
However, I did not eat any food, so I cannot provide a review for the foodie aspect. My rating for food is a 1.

Comedy Show Trauma, Food Unknown
My experience at this restaurant was primarily centered around attending the comedy show, and unfortunately, it was a deeply negative one. I left feeling traumatized. I cannot comment on the food because I did not eat anything.
However, I strongly advise against attending the comedy show here. The vibes were terrible 😭😭.

Historic Gem for Oysters and Lively Nights
My experience at Mayes Oyster House in San Francisco was truly enjoyable. This historic gem offers a lively atmosphere and is a perfect spot for oyster lovers and a great night out. The oysters were the star, incredibly fresh and flavorful, served with a variety of sauces – a definite must-try.
The rest of the seafood menu, including crab cakes and clam chowder, was well-prepared and satisfying. Even non-seafood options like burgers and salads were enjoyable. The bar menu is excellent, featuring creative cocktails, a good beer selection, and wines that pair well with seafood.
Their happy hour specials are particularly popular and a great value. The vibe is casual yet vibrant, blending historic charm with modern touches, making it ideal for groups or a fun date night. Some nights even feature live music or DJs, enhancing the experience.
The staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to offer recommendations. The only downsides were that it can get quite crowded during peak hours, so reservations are recommended, and the noise level might be high for those seeking a quieter experience. Overall, Mayes Oyster House is a fantastic spot for fresh seafood, a buzzing atmosphere, and a taste of San Francisco’s history.

Disappointing NYE Comedy Show Experience
I attended the NYE comedy show, which was advertised to feature some bigger name comedians. However, the performers were all very local and amateur. Additionally, seating was advertised, but not enough chairs were set up.
More than half the attendees ended up standing by the bar, making it difficult to hear.

Awful Comedy Show Experience
I decided to check out this comedy show and it was AWFUL. Please save your money and time, do not come to this venue/event. The space is very run down and the host (I believe his name is Damien) was rude and had no idea what he was doing, seems like they just let anyone do the job now.
