Clay Pot Rice Worth the Wait
Although the restaurant is small and crowded, the clay pot rice is very good! Definitely worth waiting.

Best Authentic Cantonese Clay Pot Rice
As a born and raised Cantonese, I can confidently say this is the best and most authentic clay pot rice I've ever had. It's my top choice for clay pot rice in the US. The food was excellent, earning a perfect 5/5.
The service was also outstanding, rated 5/5, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, scoring 5/5. We had no wait time and dined as a group of 2 for dinner.

Incredible Food, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a tale of two halves. The food was absolutely incredible, truly a highlight of the meal. However, the service was unfortunately the complete opposite.
Our server was so rude, I felt as though I had offended her by simply being there. While the food was a 5/5 and the atmosphere a 5/5, the service experience was a stark 1/5.

Authentic Chinese Food, Limited Dim Sum
My experience at this restaurant was a mix. It offers typical home-style authentic Chinese cuisine, with dishes like clay pot rice【煲仔饭】 being a highlight. However, I was a bit confused by the name "Dim Sum & Cafe" as there weren't many dim sum options.
Instead, the focus seemed to be on lunch boxes priced under $20, and even some under $15. The food quality was rated highly (4/5), but the service (3/5) and atmosphere (2/5) were less impressive.

Disappointing Experience with Unfair Service
I'm very disappointed with this place. There's no organized system for waiting in line, and it feels especially unfair if you're not Chinese. We waited in line by the door for 20 minutes, but people who arrived after us cut ahead, and the staff did nothing about it.
As soon as tables became available, some people rushed forward, claimed they were first, and were seated—no questions asked. It seemed like the staff only communicated with Chinese-speaking customers and prioritized them. If you don’t speak Chinese or act aggressively, it’s almost impossible to get a table.
The servers were unhelpful and didn’t assist us at all. Overall, a terrible experience and poor service.

Best Claypot Rice in Chinatown
My experience at this restaurant was easily the best in Chinatown. Their claypot rice was incredibly authentic and tasty, and surprisingly cheap at only 13 bucks. It's clear they genuinely care about the quality of their food, unlike many other disappointing places around.

Confusing Charges and Average Experience
I can't understand how they charge. My friend and I ordered two eel claypot rice and one salted fish meat pie claypot rice, both small portions. They cost $15.
50 and $12. 00 respectively, totaling $43, $46. 71 with tax, but the waiter asked us to pay $50.
We didn't get a receipt, don't know how they charge. If you can, please avoid this shop, their hygiene is just average, greasy feeling everywhere.

Crispy Rice is the Star!
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their great clay pots, which came with plenty of delicious crispy rice. The ox tail was also very tasty. While the eel clay pot was a bit 'wormy' for some of us, it was still enjoyable.
The undisputed star of the meal was the crispy rice. Due to its growing popularity, we experienced a considerable wait, and there wasn't much space for a stroller.

Delicious Rice Pot with Tender Meat
My experience at the restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the rice pot, which had a beautiful crust that didn't stick to the pot. It was yummy!
The meat, both beef and chicken, was incredibly tender. My only complaint is the small space; if you go with a small party, you might end up sharing a table with other people.
