Delicious Vegetarian Ramen, Lively Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was great! The vegetarian ramen was delicious 🤤. The atmosphere is nice, though it was just a little loud, it had a good vibe.
They also have a good drink selection, from beer to saki.

Pleasantly Surprised, Will Be Back!
I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant. The portions were large, and I'm already looking forward to eating the leftover pork ramen for lunch, which was yummy! I will most definitely be back.

Consistently Good Hakata Ramen
My experience at Hakata Ramen was consistently good. I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu DX for takeout. The noodles reheated well and did not get too soft.
The service was friendly, and the restaurant is decorated very festively, which I liked.

Delicious Food, Phenomenal Service, Beautiful Atmosphere!
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly positive. We came for San Diego Restaurant Week and decided to give this place a shot, and it was well worth it. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the flight of appetizers, which included the karaage and wings.
The ramen was very rich and flavorful, with perfect toppings. The service was phenomenal, and I want to specifically thank Jocelyn. The atmosphere was beautiful.
I will definitely be coming back here and highly recommend it.

Amazing Creamy Chicken Ramen!
My experience at Marafuku Ramen was incredibly positive, starting with the relaxing atmosphere in the Sky Deck. It wasn't busy, which was a nice comfort. Our server, Jocelyn, provided outstanding service; she was very nice, attentive, and familiarized us with the menu, making our decisions easier.
We started with the gyoza, which was average but better than a competitor's. The frozen strawberry lemonade was bomb, though pricey at $8. The highlight was the chicken paitan ramen, which is what they're known for.
I was lucky to snag one of the limited 15 servings. The ramen, priced at $21. 95 with the marinated chicken thigh, was amazing.
I appreciate that they allowed me to customize my ramen, removing unwanted ingredients and adding an extra egg for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The ramen itself was creamy, rich, and very savory. The chicken thigh was also amazing, falling right off the bone.
I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves creamy and flavorful chicken ramen.

Delicious Ramen, Worth the Drive
My first encounter with Marufuku was through Instagram, where their ramen looked incredibly delicious, especially with their iconic bowl selection. This led me to search for a location near me. To my surprise, there was one, although it was a 30-45 minute drive.
I decided to make the trip to see if the ramen lived up to the online hype. I arrived before opening to scout the location, which was helpful as it was situated in a section of the mall that initially appeared closed off. The atmosphere was nicely dim, creating a comfortable vibe.
I was seated immediately and ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu, extra spicy. When the food arrived, it wasn't as spicy as I expected, so I added more spice, which improved it. The bowl was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I wished for a larger portion.
Overall, it was a great first experience. However, due to the distance, I wouldn't go out of my way to return for another bowl.

Disappointing Price Hike and Taste
I used to absolutely love Marufugu Ramen. They offered huge portions and great taste at a low price. However, my recent experience was disappointing.
The price of the Chicken Paitan DX increased from $18. 50 to $21. 95, and a 4% surcharge was added for "Support the recent increases of food cost and minimum wage.
" Furthermore, their most recommended dish, the chicken leg and ramen combo, was way too salty today. It's just not as good as before.
