Long Wait Despite Pickup Time
I ordered food for pickup and arrived at the restaurant when they said it was ready. However, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes to receive my meal. The front of house was extremely understaffed, and the front of the restaurant was filled with Uber drivers waiting for pickup. I wouldn’t want to eat here or order from here again.

Best Thai Spot with Great Curry
My experience at Mangrove was fantastic! It's the best Thai spot in the area. I usually order the Penang curry and pad Thai, but I highly recommend not overlooking their ramen. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch.

Friendly Staff, Cozy Atmosphere, Great Food
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I ordered the Thai fried rice and really enjoyed the strong paprika flavor. My friend's ramen was also well-presented. We visited towards the end of the day, which allowed us to avoid the crowd and enjoy a quiet dining experience where it was easy to talk. The restaurant offers a large vegetarian selection and is highly recommended for vegetarians.

Solid Tofu Curry Experience
My experience at the restaurant was quite positive, particularly with the food. I ordered the tofu curry, which was flavorful and not overly creamy. While the tofu itself was a bit tough, it didn't significantly detract from my enjoyment. It seems the dish was quite popular, as it was nearly emptied by the end of the night. The service and atmosphere also contributed positively to my visit, with ratings of 5 and 4 respectively.

A Neighborhood Gem with Delicious Ramen
This is one of our go-to neighborhood spots. The decor is nice, the food is delicious, and it doesn’t disappoint. I really like the ramen with the Tom Yum broth and the red curry.

Delicious Thai-Twisted Ramen
My experience at the restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious, with Ramens cooked with a Thai twist. The service was friendly and quick, and the food also came out quickly. We visited on a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. While the Thai twist might not be for traditionalists, I would still recommend it.

Disappointing Thai Food Experience
My experience at Mangrove on Divisadero in San Francisco was a mix of initial promise and eventual disappointment. The menu and the very high prices certainly set expectations for a fine Thai food experience. We found parking easily and were seated promptly in a lovely decorated space with unique woven basket lampshades. However, the high prices meant I could only afford one dish. I ordered the softshell crab Ramen, which came with my favorite shiitake mushrooms. My friend ordered the vegetarian green Thai curry. While the food arrived quickly, my Ramen was unfortunately inedible due to a strong, unpleasant fish odor that had befouled the entire soup. I'm allergic to fish, and this smell made me retch. I tried to salvage the meal by ordering the same dish with chicken and shiitake mushrooms, but the replacement was vastly different and bland. To add to the frustration, they charged an exorbitant $5 for a single shiitake mushroom. The restaurant's insistence that the chicken Ramen was a different soup, despite my request for the *same* soup with chicken, and their decision to charge for the spoiled dish, left me feeling that others had a better experience than I did. I don't believe anyone at the table should have been charged after I nearly threw up from spoiled food.

Solid Thai Spot with a Local Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was a solid Thai experience, offering a familiar San Francisco vibe. It's definitely a local spot, and they have great takeout options. If you are in the area, it's worth the stop.

Disappointing Dinner Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We were hoping for a good dinner after a long Sunday, but it fell short. The service was terrible, and the table was dirty. First, it took 10 minutes to take our order, even though it wasn’t busy. Second, the main dishes arrived with the appetizers, so the food got cold before we could even start. Third, we had to keep raising our hands for water because the waiter was too busy chatting and texting on their phone. Worst of all, the waiter had a bad attitude and made us feel like we were being annoying. Definitely won’t be coming back.
