Best Sports Bar Food in SF!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a great sports watching bar with lots of different seating options and diversions like pinball, arcade games, billiards, and trivia night. I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the menu; it's probably the best in SF for a sports bar.
The atmosphere and service were both rated a 5 out of 5.

Poor Service, Long Wait Times
My experience at this restaurant was not great. Initially, I thought I might have been overreacting, but after reading other reviews, I realized I wasn't alone. The bartender, who appeared unwell, ignored my girlfriend and me for over 10 minutes.
We eventually had to flag down another server just to place our order. When the drinks finally came out, they took much longer than expected. Overall, not a great experience.

Great neighborhood pub experience
I really like this neighborhood pub. It has two sections, with the front having more bustle and chatter. During big events, it's standing room only.
The staff is friendly and efficient. You could not ask for a better pub experience.

Great Sports Bar Atmosphere with Basic Food
My experience at this restaurant was centered around watching a sports match with fellow fans. The atmosphere was fantastic, described as friendly, fun, and welcoming, especially when joining the Barça fans for a game. The menu offered some basic classics like fish and chips, which were of fair quality but nothing overly fancy.
They had a good selection of international beers and drinks. The staff were professional and caring throughout the visit.

Credit Card Fraud and Awful Food
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative. I was a victim of credit card fraud, and so were the two people I was with. Our receipt was doctored to add an extra $10 to an already generous tip.
Furthermore, the food looked awful and nothing like what you'd expect from Ireland. I will have to find somewhere new to watch the football.

Awesome Atmosphere, Amazing Beer!
While we didn't eat here, the atmosphere was awesome, the beer selection was amazing, and the bartender/waitress was super attentive.

Decent Burger, Great Wings
I stopped in for lunch before heading to Golden Gate Park. There was plenty of seating in the main bar area, as well as a back room with more seating. I ordered the Mad Dog Burger with bacon and a side salad.
It was a basic bar food burger, nothing particularly memorable. My friend had the Buffalo Wings, which were really good. They came with 10 decent-sized wings that were perfectly sauced.
This is a good spot if you’re looking for a quick bite and a brew. They also have the games on at the bar.

Great Spot for Casual Fun and Nachos
My experience at Mad Dog in the Fog was a cracking spot for daytime drinking and watching sport. While it's not overtly Irish, it has a bit rough around the edges charm that adds to its appeal. The venue offers entertainment like pool, basketball hoops, and even a piano.
The prices are solid, the crowd is chilled, and the overall vibe is unpretentious fun. I wouldn't expect glamour, but I would expect good craic and outrageously tasty loaded nacho fries. It's a great place for a low-key afternoon with mates.

Great Regular Spot with a Personal Touch
This is a bar where you want to be a regular. I come here once a week, maybe. I came in after a breakup and was just staring at the wall feeling numb.
James walked over and said, 'I think you need this, ' and gave me a free shot. That’s the reward for being a regular here. Try the mozzarella sticks; they are bomb.
They give me diarrhea, but whatever. If there’s a big game on I wanna watch, I come here.

Fish Tacos: Well-Cooked Fish, Cold Tortillas
My experience involved ordering fish tacos. The fish was cooked very well. The only problem was that the tortillas were very cold, and everything fell off them.
