Excellent Mexican Food and Ambiance
My experience at Los Yaquis has consistently been great. It's one of the best Mexican restaurants in town, and I've visited many times. The quality of service, food, and ambiance is always top-notch. While I recommend everything, I particularly love their carne en su jugo, ceviche, chilaquiles, Michaelasas, and any of their tacos are awesome. They sometimes feature live music, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. The location is conveniently in the middle of the city, making it easy to get to. Great job, Los Yaquis! See you soon!

Good Food, Loud Music
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, and the servers were great. However, the music was way too loud for the size of the place, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Authentic Mexican Gem Found by Chance
We discovered this restaurant by chance, and nothing indicated that the food was excellent with fresh products and a very approachable and pleasant owner who is passionate about cooking. The Mexican cuisine is authentic and flavorful. It was a great discovery that luck put in our path.

Fun Nights, Great Food & Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was really good, and the mega margarita was truly mega. The people working there were super nice, providing excellent service. The karaoke nights on Fridays and Saturdays were a lot of fun, with a constant presence of someone singing Cielito Lindo.

Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The food was just okay, and I was surprised that most items were cold, except for the taquitos. It was a very underwhelming meal. The pricing was also a major issue. They charged $1. 50 for three small extra tortillas and $1. 00 for each to-go box, which I found outrageous and have never encountered before in any restaurant I've visited. I will definitely not be returning.

Favorite Mexican Spot!
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! I love going with friends and socializing. The Aguachiles are highly recommended as an appetizer! All the dishes they have are delicious! And my friends love the mega margaritas and mega micheladas!

Great for Celebrations, Be Ready for the Bill
This is a good place to eat dinner or to celebrate occasions. Just be prepared for the bill to be $100+.

Delightful Discovery with Vibrant Flavors
I was so pleasantly surprised to discover this place! The experience was wonderful from the moment I was greeted by the lovely staff. The music created good vibes, and the overall ambiance was cute, chill, and low-key. I enjoyed the beautiful, vibrant chips and salsa, followed by the shrimp cerviche tostada and a mango margarita – absolutely delish to the max! The portions were perfect and reasonable, and the prices were reasonably priced. Their menu looks fire, so I'll definitely be making a trek out again.

Best Breakfast Experience in SF!
Hands down the best breakfast I had while in San Francisco. I walked past this restaurant during dinner/lunch and didn't realize it was busier then (packed!). This restaurant is pride themed, as a heads up. On another note, the service was excellent as the waiter offered a non-alcoholic drink made from horchata and, I could be wrong, strawberries. It was light in (rice) flavor and balanced out well with breakfast. Although, I can not remember for the life of me what the dish was called, I will always remember the flavors of a home brought to this country from a life I've never lived.

Excellent Seafood and Inclusive Atmosphere
My experience at Los Yaquis in Van Ness was truly enjoyable. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. I appreciated that the menu here is a bit different from the Folsom location, leaning more towards seafood but still offering a variety from chicken to beef. The tostadas are a must-try, the tacos dorados are great, and the octopus sarandeado is also highly recommended. The portions are big and decent, making the quality to price ratio superb. The vibe is very good; it’s LGBT-inclusive and you can feel that everyone is welcome. The staff is always attentive, and it’s also a family-friendly place, with many families coming to eat and enjoy the food. The karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays adds a fun touch, making it a great place to spend the evening. Overall, this is a solid spot with great food, a great atmosphere, and something for everyone.
