Pricey Chilaquiles, Friendly Service
I tried the chilaquiles for $16. 99 plus tax and ordered them to go. They felt a bit pricey considering the portion size and the fact that chilaquiles are mainly tortilla, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.
I also found they had a little too much red onion for my taste. The restaurant itself is clean with plenty of seating, and the staff were very friendly. They even offered a side of salsa with my order.
The red salsa was tasty and had a good kick to it.

Authentic Homemade Taste!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I ordered the eggs and chorizo plate, and it looked and tasted just like homemade. I'm glad I found this place, especially since I frequent the area.
The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5-star rating. They offer free parking in a lot with plenty of spaces, and the price per person is between $10–$20. The seating is in an indoor dining area, and they are highly recommended for vegetarians.
The meal type was breakfast.

Authentic Mexican Food?
My experience at the restaurant was not bad, especially if you're hungry. However, I don't feel it was 100% authentic Mexican food; it seemed more American-style, but still not bad.

Favorite Mexican Spot in San Diego!
This is one of, if not my favorite Mexican food place in San Diego. The food tastes amazing, and the prices are good. The atmosphere is nice, and there are lots of choices on the menu.
If I still lived in SD, I'd definitely be going there a lot.

Disappointing Quesadilla, Redeeming Parfait
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla with shrimp, cheese, and sour cream. I was expecting the shrimp to be cooked more than just boiled, but it was not.
Essentially, I received cocktail shrimp inside a quesadilla that was heavily laden with grease and what tasted like cheese. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the strawberries and cream parfait, which was the only item I could finish more than halfway through.

Authentic Mexican Gem in National City!
This spot is a hidden gem in National City! The food is authentic and savory. Short of going to a 5-star Mexican restaurant, their food quality is top notch.
A return visit is definitely warranted when in town. A++++

Delicious Carne Asada Fries!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I ordered the Carne Asada Fries, and they were absolutely delicious. I requested everything on the side, but honestly, they were so rich and flavorful that I didn't need to add anything.
The carne asada itself was excellent – very good quality, lean, and easy to eat. I also had two California Burritos and a large Horchata drink. The food was so good, I didn't even need to add anything to the fries!

Delicious Carnitas Burrito & Tamarindo!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the carnitas burrito for lunch, and it was soooo good. I also enjoyed an agua de tamarindo to drink, which was delightful too!
I would definitely eat here again! I paid less than $20 for my meal 🍽️.
