Best Mexican in San Diego!
My experience at Los Pancho's was exceptional. I consider it the best Mexican place in San Diego and I make sure to return every time I'm back home. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect 5/5, and the service also received a top score of 5/5.
The atmosphere was great, rated at 4/5, and there was no wait time, which was a pleasant surprise.

Best Mexican Food in San Diego!
I've visited this place a dozen times or more, and each time, the staff has been super nice and the food is always fresh. My favorite dishes from them are fish tacos or the shrimp ceviche. It's the best Mexican food spot in San Diego.

Good Variety, But Cheese Melts Differently
My experience at this restaurant was generally positive, with a few specific observations about the food. The food is always good, and I consistently order the rolled tacos. However, I've noticed that the cheese on my tacos never melts, remaining in individual strands regardless of how long it takes me to eat them.
I'm unsure if this is due to the temperature of the tacos or the type of cheese used. Despite this, the restaurant offers a really good selection of garnishes and condiments, which I appreciate as I'm not one for spicy add-ons. The menu has a lot of variety, which is a definite plus.
I also love the Coca-Cola soda machine with its huge variety of different drinks. The drive-thru is fairly fast. If you choose to eat inside, you can enjoy a free little chips and beans as an appetizer.
Overall, we love it here.

Chile Relleno Burrito Disaster
I went through the drive-thru and the lady seemed nice enough. I ordered the chile relleno burrito with no beans, just cheese sauce and the chile relleno. When I got back to my place and opened it, I was disappointed.
The burrito was filled with sour cream halfway down, then shredded lettuce and tomato, which doesn't even belong in a chile relleno burrito. To make matters worse, I took a bite of the hard stem of the chile relleno, a piece that should have been removed. To top it all off, it turned out to be a jalapeno, not an Anaheim pepper or a poblano, making it unexpectedly spicy.
I'm not from the area but I like to try different foods wherever I travel, and this is a place I will never come to again. Who leaves the stem in their chili relleno burrito?

Menu Prices Don't Match Receipt!
Beware! My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to discrepancies in pricing. The menu prices did not match the prices on the receipt.
When I brought this to their attention, they were unwilling to do anything about it. I strongly advise boycotting this place.

Disappointing Service, Great Food
While this has usually been a reliable taco spot, my last few visits have been a miss. I noticed it takes forever for someone to come to the drive-thru window. Upon looking inside, I saw about five employees chatting.
When I finally got rung up, I was overcharged. The drive-thru menu stated $12 for 3 quesabirria tacos, but my receipt showed a charge of $13. I wonder what other items they might be overcharging for.
To top it off, when I got home and was ready to eat my tacos, there was no salsa. It's a sin to eat tacos without salsa.

Consistent, Down-to-Earth Mexican Eatery
I've been coming here since 1997, and this place is incredibly consistent and reasonably priced. If you're looking for an upscale dining experience, this isn't it. It's simply a down-to-earth Mexican eatery.

Amazing Salsa and Juicy Tacos!
My oh my. The salsa here is amazing. To be very honest, I do not even remember the name of the salsa.
All of them are good but one of the green spicy salsas (not salsa verde) is amazing. The tacos are also delicious and extremely juicy. I didn't try all of them but the cabezas and fish tacos were great.
The reviewer rated Service: 3, Atmosphere: 4, and Food: 4.

Decent Food with Lingering Issues
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food I purchased was consistently decent, fresh, and well-flavored. However, the service was a bit slow, as it took a little long to get the food.
There's also a peculiar smell that always lingers around inside and outside, which is a bit off-putting and makes you wonder. On a positive note, the salsa selection is pretty good.

Disappointing Decline in Food Quality
I've been a loyal customer for nearly six years, and while the customer service was always just okay, the food was consistently good. However, over the past few months, I've experienced a significant decline in quality. I've received cold burritos, cold carne asada fries, and meat with a strange taste on five separate occasions.
Today marked the sixth and final time, as I ordered six ceviche tostadas that tasted expired and the ceviche itself had gone bad. This is simply unacceptable. I should have stopped patronizing this location sooner.
It's important to note that this issue is specific to this location; I've never had problems with Panchos on Friars or in National City. I do appreciate that they consistently offered refunds.
