My experience at the restaurant was disappointing due to the service. Although the place doesn't close until 9 pm, I called multiple times around 8: 30 pm to place a pickup order, but no one answered. When I arrived, the place was empty and not busy at all. I was also disappointed that I wasn't informed about a deal on the spam musubi. I could have gotten extra for free, but the staff member, Rafael, didn't mention it. Someone who didn't even work there had to tell me about the deal.

I love L&L and frequent different locations often. However, the Palm Ave location just cannot seem to get an entire order correct, and it’s frustrating because I know the service expectation of the brand. I suggest giving them some guidance on preparing multiple meals correctly for a single order. My favorite location is still MCAS Miramar! Their team is 5 gold stars! See y’all soon!

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I ordered 2 Spam musubi and 1 Portuguese sausage musubi. Unfortunately, they were the worst musubi I've ever had. The Spam was dry, and the Portuguese sausage was incredibly thin, not even reaching both ends of the seaweed. To make matters worse, the rice was somehow dry and tasted old. Given this experience, I will never go there again.

I've been coming to L&L's on Palm Ave for years, and my experience has always been fantastic. The service is consistently great, and most importantly, the food is delicious! My husband and I usually order the BBQ MIX and chicken katsu. While we occasionally venture out to try other menu items, everything is usually on point!

I insisted on a replacement, having seen the musubi fall. The food itself was rated a 4, but the service experience was a 1, significantly impacting my overall visit.

My absolute favorite dish is the Loco Moco, which I consider a great breakfast option for any time of day. The Mac Salad is also good, as are all the other dishes. My next favorite is the Katsu Chicken, but my favorite of all time is the Kalua Pork. The dining area is small, and it seems to be mostly geared towards take out. The reviewer metadata indicates a decent size parking lot, though it can sometimes be hard to find a space. The atmosphere and service were rated a 4 out of 5, and food was also rated a 4 out of 5.
