Little Star's Veggie Pizza Surprise
My experience at Little Star has been consistently positive, making it my favorite pizza place for a while. Tonight, however, was particularly noteworthy. I observed that both the Classic and Little Star pizzas were equally popular among a group of meat-eaters, even though one is a vegetarian option.
The Little Star deep dish is so incredibly good that it can convert people to vegetarianism without them even realizing it! 🥕 Bravo.

Amazing Deep Dish Pizza!
My experience at the restaurant was centered around their amazing pizzas. We ordered the Deep dish with half all star and half chicken presto. The toasted veggies were also delicious.
Overall, a great food experience.

Classic Deep Dish Perfection
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I tried the deep dish classic and it was an excellent choice, as you "can't go wrong" with it. The crew was "super nice", and all the food was great.
The classic dish is a classic for a reason, truly a testament to its quality.

Do I really need to say more about this place? Both the deep and thin options were amazing. You just have to go and see for yourself!

Delicious Salad and Pizza!
My experience involved ordering takeout to enjoy at Standard Deviant Brewing. The salad, specifically the one with pecans and blue cheese, was really good. I also enjoyed the meatball pizza.
I highly recommend these dishes!

Little Star Delivers, UC Davis Disappoints
My experience at Little Star was excellent. The deep-dish pizza was rich, layered, and truly impressive, living up to expectations without being overhyped. The service was solid, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet competent.
I felt I received real value for my money, leaving with my expectations met, and perhaps even exceeded. It's clear Little Star focuses on what truly matters. In stark contrast, my experience with UC Davis was all surface and no substance.
Despite impressive brochures and talk of "world-class research" and "student success, " the reality within the system, especially for driven students, is a focus on conformity over excellence. Asking hard questions, pushing boundaries, or demonstrating brilliance was met with resistance; professors blocked opportunities to protect their egos, and TAs seemed to disapprove of straying from the academic comfort zone. The system seemed to suppress talent rather than cultivate it.
Furthermore, the reported $54K median salary 10 years after enrolling is underwhelming for a school that markets itself as elite. Little Star provides what you pay for, while UC Davis offers marketing and disappointment. Little Star Pizza earns five stars for delivering quality, integrity, and a reason to return, qualities UC Davis only pretends to possess.

Fantastic Find with Great Value
What a fantastic little find! I can’t believe this place was empty during happy hour. The food was great, the drinks were cold, the service was wonderful, and the prices were even better.
It's a great spot for a casual outing with a group of friends.

Exceptional Experience, Highly Recommend!
Wow, what an experience! We were warmly welcomed and took a seat near the window. Jose helped us navigate the menu and even brought us some surprise items.
The food and service are truly five stars. We can’t wait to return. This is where we will be bringing guests in the future.
What a great first date night in SF!
