Friendly Spot with Good Indian Food
I want to preface this by saying I am NOT an expert on Indian food, only getting it about once a year. I was looking for a place open within walking distance and decided to order takeout. The gentleman working there was very nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. The restaurant itself was very clean but homey. I thought the food was pretty good; I got chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and thought it was great, though I’m no expert.

Extremely Disappointed - No Rice with Curry!
I’m extremely disappointed with this place. I ordered a coconut lamb curry and was simply provided with the curry itself and NO RICE. $20 for literal liquid? I need rice. Any other Indian restaurant I’ve gone to includes rice in their entree. This place is a total scam. I ordered the side of naan as a side in association to my lamb coconut curry and was royally disappointed to just see that and naan. No rice at all. Do not go here, not worth the money and the coconut curry didn’t even taste or have a hint of coconut in it anyway.

Yummy Smells Led to a Delicious Dinner!
While on my way to the store, I made a right turn around Little Nepal. The yummy smells coming from the restaurant were so enticing that I had to stop and order for Friday night dinner! Everything was perfectly cooked, and there were lots of leftovers.

Tasty Lamb Vindaloo and Good Naan
I went for lunch and ordered the set lunch, which included lamb vindaloo and tandoori chicken, served with basmati rice and naan. The naan was thin and very good 👍. I also ordered an extra a la carte aloo gobi. Overall, my experience was good. The lamb vindaloo was tasty and tender.

Wonderful First Nepalese Experience
My first experience at a Nepalese restaurant was wonderful. The food was so good, it's a great motivation to visit Nepal. The host/waiter was very simpatico and well-traveled, willing to guide me through the lunch options. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place, especially for vegetarians.

Delicious Vegetarian Finds with Lovely Ambiance
Visiting a friend in the neighborhood, we decided to try this restaurant. We ordered two vegetarian dishes and some garlic naan to share, and everything was truly delicious. The portions were just right, leaving us full without excess leftovers. The decor was lovely, featuring beautiful cloths under glass on the tables, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. It's a truly lovely little spot!

Best Indian Food Ever!
Dude! I went for lunch and got the special. I had the coconut shrimp and pistachio curry with chicken. It was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I’m coming back, bringing anyone who will listen with me.

A Total Gem with Awesome Food!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The waiters were incredibly sweet and attentive without being overbearing, contributing to the charming atmosphere. The food was absolutely Awesome, especially the momos. The sauce for the momos is SO good, and I love using it for dipping in addition to curries. I've never had anything that wasn't up to par. The decor is also great, making it a super laid back spot with great food and service. It's a total gem.

A Delicious Indian Gem in Bernal Heights
What a delightful find in the Bernal Heights area! We were immediately drawn in by the bright colors both outside and inside. Our server was incredibly sweet. The food was truly delicious and offered a refreshing departure from standard Indian restaurant fare. I highly recommend trying the lunch special. While it's priced at $25, it's absolutely worth every penny. Our party of three ordered two specials and still had leftovers! The special includes a wonderful salad, naan, papadam, a choice of rice, and two curry dishes. The sauces for dipping were sensational; we especially loved and devoured the green curry (mint/cilantro).

Unexpected Delight at Little Nepal!
Our experience at Little Nepal was an unexpected delight! We stumbled upon this gem after our original dinner reservation elsewhere was canceled due to renovations. Thank goodness for that! Our waiter was lovely, charming, and funny. We were all very hungry and immediately ordered the pistachio chicken korma, palak paneer, and coconut shrimp curry. Each dish was more delicious than the last. We also enjoyed buttered naan and coconut rice as accompaniments, along with a shared bottle of white wine. The best part was that despite being absolutely stuffed, we had loads of leftovers. We can’t wait to go back!
