My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I consider it my favorite middle eastern restaurant in San Francisco. The food was great, the ambience was great, and the staff was great. I also find it convenient to order from here for parties.

Lavash used to be my favorite Persian place in the Bay Area. However, over the last 2 years, the food quality and portion size have gone down significantly. Specifically, the tahdig was very disappointing – nothing like the Persian tahdig you expect!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The vibes were great, and the food was amazing. The service was sweet, and the dolmas were perfect sizes. I especially enjoyed the fesenjan, which had such a "comfy home food" feeling. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

My experience at this restaurant began with a strong impression, starting with the beautiful flower arrangements that truly elevated the atmosphere. The fantastic, well-designed menu and website also set a high bar before even tasting the food. However, despite following the website's policy for same-day reservations, the initial interaction was jarring. A strict time limit was imposed before seating, making the start of the meal feel unwelcome and rushed. The staff could be better equipped to provide menu suggestions to guests, and the overall service needs refinement to match the cuisine. Lavash possesses the quality kitchen and aesthetics of a top-tier restaurant.

My experience at Lavash was shockingly disappointing. The Kashk-e Bademjan was terrible, and the Borani, despite being described with five ingredients, only tasted of low-quality yogurt. The Dough, which should be a beautiful cultural drink, was completely tasteless. It's ironic that the place is called Lavash, yet the main entrées don't come with any. The initial bread served was cold, store-bought lavash, and when we asked to have it heated, we were told only the microwave was available, which felt like a lack of business respect. We spent $150 on main entrées and felt we could have had much better meals for $50. There was nothing special here.

My experience at this restaurant used to be great, especially with their Kubideh, which was delicious, flavorful, and juicy. Unfortunately, over the past several times I've visited, whatever I order has left me very disappointed. The taste has significantly changed; it now feels like just ground beef on the grill with no flavor. I'm very disappointed with the big change in taste.

This family-owned restaurant is one of my favorite spots. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious, with excellent vegetarian-friendly Persian food options. I particularly enjoyed the unique lentil rice with raisins, dates and mushrooms, which I haven't found anywhere else in the Bay Area. The eggplant appetizer and choclava for dessert were also highlights. The vegetarian offerings are clearly labeled, making it easy to choose. While parking can be somewhat difficult to find, the nearby Muni N stop and Baywheels Lyft shared bike station are convenient alternatives.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the rude service. It is unacceptable to refuse a woman who needs the bathroom anywhere in the world. We used to come to this place for dinner, but after this attitude, we will never return.

This is by far one of our favorite restaurants in the city and in California! It's a family-owned establishment with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff, serving amazing Persian food. We've dined at many restaurants and experienced truly great Persian cuisine, and I have to say Lavash is at the top of our list, even internationally! Highly recommend!
