Homey Spot with Delicious Pupusas
My experience at this restaurant was very homey. The food is ALWAYS on point & delicious. I know what to expect when visiting, and it's pure satisfaction. I've been coming here from Oakland for over 25+ years. They have the best pupusas in the Bay Area hands down.

Overpriced and Poorly Packaged Pupusas
My boyfriend recently picked up 6 pupusas and two empanadas, and we ended up paying $52. Normally, pupusas at most restaurants are around $4. 75 to $5. Even if we assume the pupusas here were $5 each, that would be $30 plus taxes, maybe around $35 just for the pupusas. Add an order of empanadas, which might be around $15, and that brings the total to $50. I don't think they were worth that much; we felt ripped off. To make matters worse, they didn't even give us a fork for the empanadas. The pupusas were wrapped in aluminum foil when they should have been in a container, especially if someone plans to eat them in the car. I won't be buying from this restaurant again.

Terrible Service and Unpleasant Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was terrible. The waitress attended us with a bad attitude, speaking to me rudely, which made me feel bad. The place had an unpleasant smell, and the glass smelled like fish. It was awful; I do not recommend it.

Food Poisoning After Lunch
Yesterday, Friday, April 13th, I had lunch at this restaurant with 4 other people, and we all got sick from the food. I made the mistake of bringing food home, and that also made my family sick. Do not eat there. Health and safety should conduct a check there.

Excellent Service, Delicious Food!
My experience at the restaurant was excellent. The service was top-notch, and the food was fresh made instantly. The pupusas were delicious. I highly recommend the 7 mares and the beef soup 😋.

Huge Pupusas and Friendly Service
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, with some minor points for improvement. We ordered the best burger in the mission and a zucchini pupusa. The burger had a distinctly Central American spice profile, but it was a little overcooked for my preference. On the other hand, the pupusa was impressively large and packed with flavorful ingredients. We were also treated to complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa was "fuego"! The service was very nice, quick, and efficient. Overall, a good experience with standout pupusas and great service.

Best Pupusas in San Francisco!
Although the restaurant doesn't look very welcoming from the outside, the pupusas were the best I've had in San Francisco. I will definitely be coming back to try other food items.

Best Pupusas in the Bay Area!
Food prices are high everywhere, but $52 for 6 pupusas and 2 empanadas is reasonable, especially since all restaurants charge taxes. The pupusas at Las Palmeras Restaurante are truly the best in the Bay Area. They are more organic because the chicharrón is pure meat and they don't add tomato to make it seem more abundant. That's why my husband adores the pupusas from Las Palmeras Restaurante.

Good food, slow service
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, receiving a perfect score. However, the service was slow. There was only one girl serving, and she was clearly trying her best to attend to all tables while also cleaning. This made the overall service experience less than ideal, despite her efforts.
