Expensive and downhill
My experience at this restaurant started well, but unfortunately, it has gone downhill pretty quickly. The prices are expensive, and they don't even offer free chips. If you order a side of Guac, it costs seven bucks, and it comes in a tiny, tablespoon container.

SF's Top 3 Super Burrito!
I've been coming to this spot since it first opened because it's nearby, but I've never felt compelled to write a review until recently. I'm confident in saying this is one of SF's top 3 Super Burritos. I've tried every taqueria imaginable, and especially over the past 2 months, the consistency I've experienced here is amazing. They achieve a great balance of texture. A unique touch they add is lettuce, which I personally don't mind and actually like for the added freshness. You absolutely must get the refried beans. I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to share my recent impressions. This place deserves more recognition, especially considering its hard-to-reach location. However, if you're in the vicinity, I'd say this is the best Burrito you can get on San Bruno. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious Food, Worth the Wait!
I slept on this place for way too long. My experience was filled with delicious and flavorful food. The ceviche was incredible and smoky, and the fish tacos were also so yummy. 😋

Incorrect Orders, High Price
I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years, and unfortunately, they consistently struggle with getting orders right. On my recent visit, I ordered a burrito with steak, beans, rice, and cheese, specifically requesting no salsa. Despite confirming this with the staff, the burrito was prepared with salsa anyway. Given that cheese is exceptionally expensive in Bay Area taquerias, this burrito, along with a can of Coke, cost $18. 50. This experience has led me to a hard pass on returning in the future.

Disappointing Enchiladas and Cold Food
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I found the chips to be not very good. I ordered an enchilada plate with one beef and one cheese enchilada. The beef enchilada was okay, though it was surprisingly cold in the middle. The cheese enchilada was even worse; it wasn't warm at all, and the cheese hadn't melted, making it feel like I was eating raw shredded cheese. The beans lacked flavor, and the rice was just passable. Given the many excellent dining options in this neighborhood, I won't be returning and will opt for Taqueria Gonzalez instead.

Amazing Super Veggie Burrito!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the super veggie burrito, which was the best I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant also had super pretty decorations inside, contributing to a great atmosphere.

Impressive Chocolate Cake, Decent Burrito
My experience at the restaurant featured an impressive chocolate cake that was moist and a big piece, costing around $6. 50, which I felt was worth it. I also had a decent Carne Asada Super Burrito with salsa and chips for $15. The service and atmosphere were excellent, both rated 5 out of 5, and the noise level was very quiet. I was dining alone with no wait time.

Mixed Feelings: Great Food, Service Issues
Update: I love this place so much; today unfortunately marks the second day they've made my order wrong. I ordered over the phone this time for my typical order, and they gave me a burrito with beans, rice, some kind of meat, and sour cream. Last time I ordered in person and they added just rice. This time they charged me for this burrito even though it's not what I ordered, and I was too busy with work to go back and reorder. I will try one more time and if it's incorrect again, I'm going to find a new taqueria sadly. Marking down service to a 2 for the incorrect orders, and total 5 stars to 3 stars. My go-to is a refried beans burrito with cheese and sour cream - basic, I know, but you'd be surprised that some places just don't make good ones. Katrina's definitely serves up a good bean cheese sour cream burrito though, with a creamy texture and hearty flavor. The cook that handed me my burrito also gave me a super spicy yummy habanero salsa when I asked for red sauce. Both the red salsas were deliiiicious. I also snagged a chocolate cake slice which is the perfect meal cap. The cake was super moist. Will be back! Only thing that would prevent me from going here would be finding parking or not.

Chonky Burritos and Great Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. My husband and I tried the quesabirria and the super relleno burrito. The quesabirria was impressively chonky and stuffed, and the relleno offered a really satisfying cheese pull. The service was quick, and I also really dug the aesthetic of the place. Overall, a great lunch experience.

Hidden Gem with Delicious Food and Excellent Service
You will be astounded when you enter this restaurant, despite the unattractive exterior with plenty of noise, traffic, and difficulty finding parking. Don't let the location fool you; this eatery resembles a museum. Everything is tastefully done, and the food is delicious. I had the opportunity to stroll about and assess the quality of this lovely restaurant because I arrived in the middle of the day when not many people were around. As a result, I was very satisfied with the environment inside the restaurant. Finally, the service is excellent and the costs are reasonable. Highly recommend!
