Busy spot with amazing shrimp rice!
This place stays booked and busy, which is a good sign. The numbers for your space in line are called out in Cantonese, so pay attention. A lady at a nearby table was kind enough to let me know they called my number.
The tea is served piping hot and the plates keep coming. The sticky shrimp rice makes me want to go back to San Francisco just to eat these again.

Nostalgic Visit to Remodeled Lychee Garden
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful trip down memory lane. My favorite dish was the toong choy with fuyu, which was so aromatic! It's wonderful to see the space nicely remodeled, especially since this used to be Lychee Garden where we'd go as kids.
The overall atmosphere and food were rated highly.

Fresh Flavors and Speedy Service!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was fresh and bursting with flavor. The service was impressively speedy.
I highly recommend trying the Peking duck—it’s cooked to perfection and absolutely delectable!

Great Dim Sum, Go Off-Peak
My experience at this great big dim sum restaurant was enjoyable. As a Caucasian who often dines alone, I found it to be a place I enjoy every time. The paid parking on Powell Street is a convenient amenity.
I would advise against visiting around 12-12: 30 PM as it gets very crowded and you'll likely have to wait a bit.

Perfect Duck and Fluffy Bao!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, primarily due to the duck, which is the star of the show. It was perfect every time. I highly recommend getting it with the super lite and fluffy bao.

Delicious Food, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant involved a long wait to get seated, but it was ultimately worth it. I appreciated the innovative setup of checking desired items directly on the reusable and sustainable laminated menu. Once seated, the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious.
This place is clearly a favorite among locals.

Lai Hong Lounge Delivers on Expectations
I came to Lai Hong Lounge with high expectations, having heard about it from friends, and the restaurant certainly delivered. The woodear mushroom dumplings were especially good, and the garlic butter shrimp noodle hit just the right spot. Unfortunately, they were out of the curry beef dumplings, which I hope to try if the opportunity arises again.

Good food, terrible service experience
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of good and bad. The food was good, earning a perfect score. However, the service was far from satisfactory.
I ordered 4 starters and a main course. After waiting for an hour, the main course was not delivered. To make matters worse, the staff informed me they would have to cancel it as the restaurant was close to closing and the kitchen wouldn't repair the error.
When it came to the bill, there was no option to add a tip; it was added directly without asking my preference. The atmosphere was pleasant, rated a 4.

Good Food, Service Issues
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food was good, the service was significantly impacted by a mistake where our noodles were forgotten. This led to a considerable wait after we had finished our other dishes.
The seating and environment felt hectic, but the quality of the food itself was a definite positive.

Avoid This Place: Terrible Service, Added Tip
Don’t come here! We were a party of two and they automatically added an 18% tip to our receipt, with the word 'APPROVED! ' in all caps.
They provided absolutely no service and took it for granted. The cookie served after getting the check was also terrible. Come here if you want to be ripped off!
