My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the racist and homophobic behavior of the staff, despite being located in a gay area. The service was terrible; when I tried to order tacos, the gentleman and lady attending were incredibly rude. They were entitled, rude, and mean with a couple of gay men before us, and later on with my girlfriend and me. While I understand restaurants can be busy, there's no excuse for such mean behavior. I do not recommend this place at all. Furthermore, the menu did not look authentic, making it the worst place in the whole area.

My go-to Mexican spot in the Castro has consistently delivered. I’ve been coming here for months and have never had a bad experience with the food or service. The food quality is good, and the taste is excellent. While I think their customer service could be a little better, they are by no means unfriendly. The atmosphere is also a strong point.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by a surprising charge for a side of guacamole. I was charged $10 for a side of guacamole simply because I requested it on the side rather than inside my food. The overall food, service, and atmosphere were rated a 2.

I've been enjoying the food at La Tortilla for decades. Their burritos really ARE super! The staff are friendly and efficient. They always seem to be open when I have a craving for delicious Mexican food. Since I live so close by, I often get my order to go, but it's fun to sit at the window and watch the world go by on Castro Street.

The food was insipid, comparable to my grandmother's cooking when she doesn't know how to cook and uses the worst ingredients from the market. Honestly, any Mexican restaurant would be better than this. I would never visit again. It truly doesn't deserve any stars.

My experience at this restaurant was basic, perhaps best enjoyed after a few drinks. It's a mom and pop shop, and I recognize the hard work and long hours they put in. However, I wasn't a big fan of the meat. On the positive side, the prices are affordable and the portions are decent. I do wish them the best.

After spending a couple weeks away from Latin America, it was amazing being in a restaurant with Latin music on the speakers and delicious burritos on the table. Muchas gracias a todos, fue riquísimo!

I specifically requested spicy salsa, but what I received was akin to a mild tomato bisque, not spicy at all. Honestly, even Chipotle offers better burritos than this, which is saying something for a taqueria.
